They are kinda obligated to add a correction sheet, even if you can figure it out. Instructions are less clear than the old tamiya kit i've built..gosh! Anyway good job done Paul, thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Thanks George appreciated stay safe and happy modelling.
Although a bit heavy on the weathering, it came out quite nice in the end. I like the grey-green scheme, so I have ordered the same Revell kit as I only have a 1/48 Spit in my collection.
Thanks. I agree with you on the weathering it's a bit heavy. Apart from that it's a nice kit .
Nice work Paul the photos look good too marra . Regards Gav
Thanks Gav appreciated stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
Nice job Paul, I built this kit about 3 years ago and I really liked it and enjoyed it. You have made a lovely job well done 👍
Thanks Chris much appreciated
G’day Paul, great job as always mate. Well done. Thanks for sharing 👍🇦🇺
Thanks Mick appreciated have a great weekend 👍
Another quality build Paul, looks great on that dio too.. Well done once again…good job, Chris 👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻

Hi Eddy your still preserving with My videos. Much appreciated stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
No preserving needed lol !!! Your a good modeller and painter. Enjoy your weekend.
Looking great 🙏🍺💞💪👍
Thanks 👍
That ppor old girl looks like she's had a hard life bloody nice work mate.
Thanks Alex much appreciated stay safe and happy modelling
Very smart! Well done 😊 One thing, though. I am not sure the Mk IXc had an aerial wire. I have Tamiya's version in the stash, and have to find out.
Thanks appreciated. Am just going by the box art with the areal. Shall have to check
Looks pretty good mate, you keep churning them out! 👍🍻🇦🇺🇬🇧
Thanks James much appreciated stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
That looks amazing Paul , I really like the weathering 👌 nice touch on the photos at the end being in black & white 🫡
Thanks Richie appreciated.
Great build Paul nice weathering like it
Thanks David appreciated
Nice battle battered Spitty. Nice work Paul 💥👍💥
Thanks David appreciated have a great weekend 👍
Dear Mr Plastic, I think that has turned out very nicely. It’s hard to produce the effects necessary to create the illusion of use. The thing I like about oils however is that one can use odourless thinners to tone it all down if there’s too much of an effect. I found this out with a 1/48 Spitfire a ways back and never forgot it! The final effect of the metal finish on the walkways is excellent by the way. I think you have captured that exceedingly well!! The pictures were good- in particular the one with the two officers and the pilot on the fore starboard quarter. The lighting is super- subtle and giving the appearance of day. Kind regards, Z
Thanks Zin much appreciated Stay safe and happy modelling
Hi Paul, the Spitfire looks absolutely outstanding, I do like the grey/green scheme, congratulations on another outstanding build, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Thanks Les much appreciated stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
Paul, If you get another Revell kit, would you be able to do a version with the entry hatch open and the canopy slid back to better expose the cockpit interior (for whatever mods you were thinking of including)? In any case, a very nice job, and the black and white photos add a war-time realism to the diorama.
Thanks Tron. Did look at opening the canopy. But it didn't look as if it could be slid over the back part .But would differently work it out on the next one stay safe and have a great week 👍
Fantastic work Paul really like it 👍🏻
Thanks Mark appreciated stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
Turned out awesome Paul, Cheers mate
Thanks Tom much appreciated. Hope you had a good July the 4th
Very nice Paul. I like the way you did the base and used grayscale for the photos. Have a great weekend
Thanks Johnny much appreciated. Did think it was a bit different. Stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
Decals 🫣. Not a huge issue. As far as weathering goes, there is no right amount of weathering. Have a great weekend
Very nice aircraft.
Thanks Dave appreciated stay safe and have a great weekend 👍
She's a nice dirty bird!
Beautiful build in every way!
Thank you!
That looks far more detail and better than my tamiya one!!! Excellent job done on the first boogie Paul! (the majority of the build will be fiddly, there's a lot of tiny bits) You are making the flak 36, Aka the anti tank version, the flak 37 is the AA version. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Thanks 👍
Dear Mr Plastic, I think that you’ve made an excellent job of the footways on that kit. The technique you employed has turned out very nicely! If my wife painted figures, I would have given this to her so that I could make the joke about “admiring her bust.” Not to be sadly… Regards, Z
Looks good to me marra as does the bust . Regards Gav.
Sorry Paul i am having internet issues at the moment . The spitfire looks good as does the bust . Regards Gav.
Hiya Paul, like the idea of un weathered tbh, but you have done a cracking job for a Spitfire that has come to the end of its life or service type dio.. Bust is awesome and inspiring me to have a go at Rocky soon..cheers, Chris
Spit us coming along Paul, your bust is looking really nice too, Cheers mate
Thanks Tom appreciated stay safe and happy modelling
Excellent progress Paul! Nice technique using the masking fluid to make the foot traffic on the wings! The effect looks realistic.
Thanks much appreciated stay safe and happy modelling
I'm of the opinion that ya can't do weatherin wrong. It's like rust. There's a million different colors. Looks great , Paul. Bust is coming along nicely. I just started doing busts , myself. I can see how ya can get addicted. Model on , ya magnificent bastard. 👍
Thanks Charlie much appreciated You guy's have a great weekend and happy modelling
Looking good Paul, the spitfire is coming along nicely and the busy is looking great more like Tom Hanks. For someone who isn’t a figure painter it’s awesome.
Thanks Mike much appreciated. Just having a dabble at figures. Stay safe and happy modelling.
Paul, I think the coloring on the back of the backpack on the bust looks quite realistic - very much like canvas that has had a lot of exposure to water and sun.
Thanks Tron appreciated. Stay safe and have a great weekend
Well, in my personal opinion, weathering is very overrated, but quiite fashinable these days. I like my models to have a clean look, but let´s see how this Spit IX comes out when it is ready, I should not jump into early conclusions, as it is a work in progress.
Thanks for the comment. Yes I agree with you. Normally I will leave them clean just wanted to give it a go . We shall see. May come out flipping awful. Stay safe and happy modelling
How you getting on with Alclad now Mig have taken over the brand?
hi Moss .To be honest am stii useing the old stuff .I haven't heard much about the mig . stay safe have a great weekend
Looking good Paul! I spent the day yesterday stripping all the paint off my 24 car to start over with a different plan this time, wish me luck!
Nice work mate thanks for sharing.
Looking good Paul, do love a spitfire. Capt Miller looking good so far too.. I have a Sylvester Stallone Rocky bust. Not really sure as lots of skin tones but may attempt it one day.. All the best, Chris
Thanks Chris appreciated. Should give your bust a go .A lot of it is trail and error. If you use acrylics you can always strip it .Have a great week 👍
Hi Paul, the Spitfire is looking absolutely fantastic, looking forward to the painting episode, as for the figure that was outstanding, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Thanks Les much appreciated stay safe and have a great week 👍
Nice work on the figure. The spitfire is coming along nicely.
Thanks Johnny appreciated stay safe and have a great week 👍
top job! the bust is looking good also.
Spit's lookin great so fah....
Spit is coming along nicely Paul, 😎👍
Paul, Looking very nice. Question - it looked like there were some gaps at the trailing edges of both the left and right wing-to-fuselage joints on the upper wing surfaces that could have used some filler. Is this just an artifact of the lighting and camera angle, or am I just seeing things that aren't really there?
Nice work Paul 🙉
Dear Mr Plastic, I will be watching with some interest how you get on with the mask o as this is a new one to me anyway!! The figure is looking pretty good too if I may say so!! Best of luck sir!! Regards, Z
Looks like a Spitfire to me also. Coming along nicely. And the bust doesn't look like Tom Hanks, but does that really matter?
