Looks utterly fantastic Paul, yeah the ceiling is always the ideal place for aircraft, and the B17 is living up it's name if it withstood a small drop from the attachment. You've done a truly fantastic job with this, done the B17 justice and made a museum piece of art. Well done on this magnificent piece of work, get yourself a good cold drink and have one on me tonight. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and hope you have wonderful and stress free modelling ahead of you. Happy modelling mate, stay safe and I'll stay in touch via the site 👍
Thanks Joe and cheers. I haven't decided yet what to build .Normally that's not a problem, shall have to have a look in my stash which needs to come down Have to many kits that I shall probably not build ,None of interest really got most of them when I first started modelling 10 year ago .I did find a 1/72 schnellboot made by fore hobby which I forgot I had which I maybe tempted to have a go at.Any way Joe stay safe and happy modelling
@@plasticmonkey5594 That'd be fantastic as a project to do on the channel. Yeah I know what you mean about a stash.. I got one of my own after a few months. Maybe because you've done an aircraft, maybe it'd be a good idea to stick to the ocean for a bit.. so yeah I'd say a 1/72 torpedo boat would be perfect, I'm still on the Gneisenau.. but as always, it's a working progress. Have a wonderful weekend mate 👍
Nice one! 👍 She's come out looking just fine; a well worn bird with a great distressed paint scheme... 😃 I'm building one of these, alongside the newer Revell B-17F in 1/72 scale (Jason's B-17 group-build), and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well this far older (and simpler) kit looks and seems to fit together (apart from the top/bottom wing halves which need a lot of persuasion to lie flush - plenty of Revell Contacta, CA glue, and Extra Thin, and a bunch of pegs!! 😂 ). Apart from that, it's pretty good, and IMPRESSIVELY big!! 😜
Great job on the bomber as I hope you build more of them in the future. Sorry your Dauntless is out of action as I hope you can source a part or Trumpeter gives you another part for free. So stay safe and happy building!
@@plasticmonkey5594 many thanks for asking Paul, I’m feeling better now still got the cough lingering but I’m ok and hoping it finally disappears all together.
