9:23 that top is for the flak 38 aka the anti air gun, the AA gin has several gauges from that side that count elevation and other stuff, in general you have to research to be able to tell the differences between the anti tank and AA variants Paul, some of them are major (like the gub barrel) some of them are details. In general these kits have a lot of parts and i also understand what you mean about the instruction arrows, stuff like that make an already challenging build unecessary more difficult. A good update i have to say. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Hi Paul, the '88'is looking absolutely stunning, I am no expert but I think you should still do a darker grey, but it is your kit after all, looking forward to the next update, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Dear Mr Plastic, I vaguely recollect making the Tamiya version way back when. You’re making this very interesting and I’m pleased to watch this in light of my previous project from the days of yore! Regards, Z
Looks utterly incredible Paul, that looks truly awesome, that great big barrel of the 88mm looks lethal even though it's only 1/35 scale. Your doing a great job with that thing, and just so you know.. that 88mm that you've got there, that's one thing that always struck terror into allied troops, when allied troops faced the Tigers or King Tigers.. and that 88mm was facing them.. many just went into a state of terror yet that heroic warrior heart they had.. kept them going, it's something that really makes you feel proud. I saw one of these a few days ago at museum and looking at this thing and being up close, makes you go cold. Yes your doing a great job, that's truly magnificent and masterful handy work. Keep it up and well done mate, hope you and Sue have a fantastic weekend and happy modelling to you both 👏👍
@@plasticmonkey5594 Actually it's funny you should say that because a few people have said the same, just never had the gut to try and publish. I prefer painting and art, writing hurts my hand.. typing.. might give it a go. Your very welcome in what you said and really appreciate the reply, love the site and will get images of my B29 put on when finished.. got most of the fuselage done, the tail and such, working on the wings now. Still got all the painting to do but, working progress afterall. Stay safe yourself and happy modelling to you too 👍👍
