Sorry about the late comment but on the modelling note, so far so good all is coming along beautifully. Your doing a great job on this B17F, the Memphis Belle is going to look incredible when it's done. Wonderful to see that the incredible artistic skills remain unstoppable despite the bout of illness you had, nothing stops the great artist 😁. This kit is surprisingly forgiving despite the few number of parts you have to mess around with, what the kit lacks in parts and detail it makes up for in being easy to work with.. Well.. fixing the guns has been challenging, if it helps.. I tend to put a bit of either white or blu tac on areas not going to be glued.. just to briefly hold the part in place while the glued area sets.. when the part is set just carefully remove the tac ball.. just a thought, if you need to get some parts to remain still while glued areas set in the future. Either way it's looking good, going to look incredible when completed. Looking great Paul, well done and happy modelling mate 👍

Its getting time at the moment with work and real life getting in the way .The B17 is looking good just Finnished painting the fuselage. Anyway stay safe and happy modelling.
@@plasticmonkey5594 Thanks for the great reply, yeah the Gneisenau is taking shape, I've got the smokestack installed and the overall superstructure at the bow is installed, got some of the searchlights installed as well as the bow range finder. Got a vast ton more work to get through, some of the anti-aircraft guns are done, but not all installed. None of the big 11 inch guns or even the secondary armaments are assembled or painted, nor for that matter are either of the two floatplanes, might be another month or even two, possibly even three before the project is done. Excellent to hear that the USS Hornet is nearly done, she'll look utterly fantastic when complete. Stay safe yourself and happy modelling 👍
Paul, I think you're trying to give me a heart attack with all of those fragile machine guns sticking out at the waist gunner and nose gunner positions! (As if to confirm my fears, I think you lost the machine gun on the left side of the nose just as the video was ending.) It looks like there are a lot of fiddly little parts in certain sections of the kit. Take care and stay well. (P.S. I got a nice chuckle out of the CA glue "pot" getting stuck to the inside of the fuselage tail - that stuff gets everywhere, doesn't it?)
That cockpit is looking great Paul. I recon your right about fitting the ball turret after painting

My favorite part about CA glue is that it attaches the part everywhere including my fingers except where the part belongs.😂🤣
