It's looking incredible Paul, that's what I call great working progress.. your handy work on those decks and weaponry installation is sweet. Your photo etch work is also incredible, you can disagree if you want but your a master with that neck of the woods. HMS Warspite is a legend, of all the ships we've preserved in history, she should had been the one saved.. can you imagine her in Portsmouth or even Southampton or any other coastal town or city? She'd draw in millions I think.. but then again, HMS Belfast is incredible in her own right.. but that's just my opinion. Great work on your Romans, gold helmets I think are actually historically true.. I think 🤔.. but as you said, it's artistic license. Your doing a fantastic job with Warspite, truly amazing. Keep at it, wishing both you and Sue a very wonderful week ahead, happy modelling and remain epic mate 👍👍
Thanks Joe always appreciate your comments Am no way a master but am trying to learn and improve. Yes it's a ship that we should have kept. It actually went to ground not far from where we live and got broken up ,I think there is still a few parts you can still see .Thanks again for your kind words stay safe and happy modelling
@@plasticmonkey5594 No really.. you are a master, I mean it. Yes it's a disgrace to have thrown such a beautiful ship away, makes me sick.. really does. Mind you.. if you go to the states you can visit the USS Texas, she's the only similar ship still alive to this day, dreadnought battleship.. those we're sacred works of art, but as said.. it's the only similar ship to what we had to this day.. mind you as far as I know it's under replenishment, repair and restoration after suffering minor flood damage, mind you.. there's the great US Battleships to visit if you fancy. Looking Good Paul the helmets of that period were iron with brass covering for decoration but i don't see why they couldn't be all over like yours i have done the same but gave them a mix as the decoration was up to the soldier . Regards Gav.
