Dear Mr Plastic, I think that you’ve made an excellent job of the footways on that kit. The technique you employed has turned out very nicely! If my wife painted figures, I would have given this to her so that I could make the joke about “admiring her bust.” Not to be sadly… Regards, Z
Looking good Paul, the spitfire is coming along nicely and the busy is looking great more like Tom Hanks. For someone who isn’t a figure painter it’s awesome.
Paul, I think the coloring on the back of the backpack on the bust looks quite realistic - very much like canvas that has had a lot of exposure to water and sun.
Hiya Paul, like the idea of un weathered tbh, but you have done a cracking job for a Spitfire that has come to the end of its life or service type dio.. Bust is awesome and inspiring me to have a go at Rocky soon..cheers, Chris
I'm of the opinion that ya can't do weatherin wrong. It's like rust. There's a million different colors. Looks great , Paul. Bust is coming along nicely. I just started doing busts , myself. I can see how ya can get addicted. Model on , ya magnificent bastard. 👍
Well, in my personal opinion, weathering is very overrated, but quiite fashinable these days. I like my models to have a clean look, but let´s see how this Spit IX comes out when it is ready, I should not jump into early conclusions, as it is a work in progress.
Thanks for the comment. Yes I agree with you. Normally I will leave them clean just wanted to give it a go . We shall see. May come out flipping awful. Stay safe and happy modelling

Decals 🫣. Not a huge issue. As far as weathering goes, there is no right amount of weathering.
Have a great weekend
