They are kinda obligated to add a correction sheet, even if you can figure it out. Instructions are less clear than the old tamiya kit i've built..gosh! Anyway good job done Paul, thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Hi Paul, Nice progress on your 88mm gun. I am also confused by all the options. I'm sure it's going to look great when it's done. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Looks utterly excellent Paul, though I can see it's been a struggle and a challenge in the process.. yeah I can see it's been difficult just by looking at the instructions and the description, but despite that you've been doing a great job.. I suppose you can say it's just been a step inside alien territory, on the job learning as it we're. Maybe if you fancy any other military ground projects you can always try the trumpeter or academy kits, there's a great selection of those if you want to make any other ground projects. I'm planning to do a K5 railway gun from academy in the future, hopefully that'll be a success. Your 88mm looks great so far, keep at it. Have a truly fantastic week and happy modelling to both you and Sue 👍 👍
@@plasticmonkey5594 That's a real incredible goal to go after, the great big Dora gun.. Gary Brinker who used to model on UA-cam made one of those, it's a real monster I can say that. I'm sticking with the smaller K5, just like the one you can see at the Calais Muse. 👍👍
I stay away from Border, Takom, and Hobby Boss kits. They have become so stinking fiddlely with a bunch of tiny parts for a spring or a clamp or a reel, and then the instructions are confusing...no thanks. The last Takom tank kit I had, I ended up tossing the dang then because it became too much of a chore, and no fun at all. I hope you can stick it out with this gun kit!
The greater the complexity, the greater the incidence for error. Well done on figuring it out.👍
Thanks Michael. It's a can of worms .Stay safe and have a great week
Great informative video Paul, highlighting all the possible pitfalls with the instructions.
Thanks Mike appreciated. I do need to catch up on your videos real life getting in the way at the moment stay safe and happy modelling
@@plasticmonkey5594 no worries Paul we all have that problem my friend

@@joeaustin4472 yes Joe can remember watching Gary use to like his channel I wonder what happened to him?
@@plasticmonkey5594 Often thought that myself.. might be down to age or health, either way.. still love his channel 👍👍
Over 60 parts for a bogey! It’s a model on itself ☺️
It is and the instructions are a nightmare. Stay safe and happy modelling.

Complicated but looks good Paul . Regards Gav.
Hi Gav hope your good. It's a night mere waiting to happen .The instructions are awful.
Just curious, use Google Translate and hover over the Chinese characters to see if they match the English translation. They may be correct in Chinese?
Now thats a good idea .Thanks appreciate the comment 👍
Is it me or are instructions getting more cryptic…. Border and Takom come to mind.
👍
Paul when it comes to the gun it gets worse .
