Hi Paul, The Warspite is looking great, good luck with all the PE, I remember building the Warspite ( I think it was a Airfix kit) when I was about twelve, so that was about fifty-six years ago, looking forward to the next update, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Enjoy seeing videos on the Warspite. I built her myself although I painted mine in the Victorian era peace scheme of black and buff. Really is a great kit in my opinion. Although kind of a tight fit in the middle at the aircraft catapult after putting on the AA guns that are around it.
Great start Paul, the project has only just started but your off to a great start. Your handy work with the decks is incredibly great, it's a legendary ship is the HMS Warspite.. veteran of both ww1 and ww2.. if your interested there's different liveries this ship carried in her service, peacetime grey to a mix of grey and white while in the Med, personally speaking I think the peacetime grey with the red, white and blue stripes painted on B turret look the nicest.. but that's just my opinion, either is stunning. Your absolutely 💯 correct on your statement that this ship should never have been thrown away, Warspite deserved the right to be preserved, but I suppose the funding to preserve her would have been immense, but if you think carefully.. the amount that would visit her over the years.. Royal visits, venues, remembrance days.. it would be a sight which I would love to see.. and I think many others would also. Your off to a beautiful start, looking forward to seeing how this project gets going, hope you and Sue have a great week and happy modelling to you both. 👏👍
Great build and vid 💞🍺💪👍🙏
