Nice work there. Like you I'm finding similar issues, it'a case look forward look, back and look again, it's slow progress. It's a shame as the kit is very nice but it's like the kit designers and the instruction writers never met each other.

When my daddy was teaching me the hobby, he used to tell me that the instructions are NOT a cookbook, they’re a guide and I finally learned that when I got older. But you have to wonder if anyone at the company tried using them before printing them. 🤔
It's looking great Paul, your doing a first class job with this project. You've done a fantastic job with the command bridge, the instructions seem mind scrambling from what you've shown.. well done in regards of diagrams and number instructions but this one looks as if it's requiring a mind of such genius you need to go to cape canaveral. Your method is in all honesty perfectly wise, I've done such approaches in the past with my own projects and done it on my Gneisenau. I think this a case of allowing each maker to take their own approach to the goal of completion, if it seems as though this might need putting to one side, maybe.. it's just a suggestion.. maybe you could go with something else, while taking a rest ftom the nightmare instructions. It's just a thought.. please don't misunderstand me. Regardless of the challenges you've done a great job, it's looking beautiful.. I think I would have been beaten with this one. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, and just in case your interested my 1/200 Gneisenau is nearing completion, still much to do but it's getting close to the goal. Paul, I rather like these "summary" videos for kits that are so time-consuming to actually build. The other thing I would say is that it is no crime to correct the build order shown in the instructions if it makes it easier to do the build, or if making such a change is much more logical. In any case, the kit is looking really good.

Frustrating to have to look for 5 sprues for that little piece of a build,especially if there is a large number of sprues. I have never heard of fore hobby but there are so many companies making plastic right now it’s hard to keep up. It’s looking fantastic so far though. Nice job.

Great update my friend, I think the bits you said about being compressors are the torpedo loading tubes. It’s looking great.
