Paul, very nice diorama, I particularly like the use of the cotton to represent the water being displaced by the movement of the hull through the ocean.
Nice job on the carrier! I have many airplanes hanging from the ceiling, and I use fishing line! It's practically invisible, strong, cheap, and can be found anywhere.

The Hornet looks great. You should go for the AN-2. Today’s politics in Russia shouldn’t dictate what you want to build. I do despise Putin but the AN-2 is of another era and a great subject to model.

Beautiful job there Paul, you've done really well and the seascape diorama is a real masterpiece. That's a job well done you've done there, done the USS Hornet CV8 proud, excellent work. It's a good selection what you plan to do next, if it helps.. and please don't think this is being intrusive because really it isn't, but sometimes when I'm unsure as to which project to do next, I post images on facebook on my homepage so that my friends can see what I'm planning to do, I tend to call it voting polls and the one with the most votes wins. Maybe if it helps it might turn up some help on the modelling site, there's no right or wrong answer in regards of what people choose, it's what anyone finds most appealing.. as it we're. If you want my opinion as to what mightbe ideal to make next, the torpedo boat looks best in my personal opinion, but.. that's just me.. either looks great as far as I'm concerned, your page your choice, your end results always look magnificent. Would you believe that the AN-2 is stealthy. Just as with the Mosquito, it’s mostly made of wood so radar has difficulty tracking the plane. Enjoy your build as I will enjoy following your progress.
