Adorable owl!! I would love to use this on a Birthday card. Wondering what the Owl would look like with his eyes open for a card. Do you ever teach on an easy font to make the writing on a card look special? I have made a pretty decent painting for a card then imo ruined it with the writing. I would say something like Hoo’s Having a Birthday? I have some stamps for inside or I write a note in my own handwriting. I just found you recently when I was actually looking for whimsical and really like your channel. I also love this one of the flowers. I am so much a very obvious untalented person who loves to try to create. 😂 I’m in very poor health so I do my painting in bed which is a challenge but it is something that gives me a hobby to help pass these long days. I especially love to make cards and that lets me also encourage others as well. But back to this video….i love it. It is beautiful and simple. I love tutorials that are not overwhelming and make me feel defeated before I start. I also have problems with florals….these are lovely and simple. I love the blue shade. I know this is an old video but if you still have the last plate you used to mix your paint on the various designs around its perimeter would make great embellishments for abstracts or fill ins like the Sun 🌞 Moon 🌕 you did on one sheet of paper. I love your videos! The main reason is that the whimsical designs work so well for beginning watercolorists like me. "It doesn't need to be perfect" seems to me to be more true with designs like those you teach. My oops moments can be incorporated into the design without ruining my work. Perfect for someone like me -- a perfectionist who, if it isn't perfect, it's trash. I'm working through it and am not so hard on myself these days but people like you make it easier. Thank you!
