- Part 5 - Learn how to make an easy doodle drawing that will help you relax and de-stress a bit. Doodling is an easy art activity that doesn't really require drawing skills because it is abstract based and done with simple lines and shapes. I LOVE doodling for everything from relaxing and easing my mind to helping me concentrate. You heard that right - doodling an help you concentrate. Have you ever doodled while you're on a phone call or meeting? Doodling is actually helping you absorb the info! This is the first video in this series, and a departure from what I normally have on my channel, but my Instagram peeps asked for this, so I'm putting it here for everyone. This video will finish up with adding some color and looking at a few more fun supplies to add. We also talk about the benefits of this type of drawing practice, and how to go from here. This is just a beginning - the options are unlimited!!! By the time you're done with all 5 videos (that are no longer than 30 minutes each), you'll have a complete doodle drawing and the skills to create more!

✏️ Supplies Needed ✏️
I have only provided specific links for the things that can't be found at any art/craft supply store, and I do not get commission on anything I recommend - these are just the supplies I love.
Paper: Whatever is appropriate for the pens you are using to draw or the medium you will use to color. I like to use watercolor paper because I often color my drawings with watercolor, but whatever paper you have will work.
Pens: If you are going to watercolor, use something waterproof. If you aren't using watercolor, Sharpies are good, but any marker or pen will do. You can even use pencil if you want! I like the Uniball Eye Fine and Uniball Deluxe Micro - I'll also be introducing the Posca Paint Pen (size PC-1M) in video 5
Extra: snacks are always good (hahahaha!), and a kleenex or paper towel to put under your hand while you draw to prevent dragging your hand through wet ink (like I do all the time!)

Hey Dawn 😊 just now able to watch this #5 bonus I was so looking forward to. You give such amazing ideas. I used posca pens a lot w/rock painting….love, love them. Between rock painting and now watercolor painting I’ve spent a blue fortune 🤔 but I’m ok with it. It’s my therapy, it’s my escape. I love the idea of taking a picture of your work and look at it, something I never do 😂 I was wondering since you offer soooo many videos with great ideas, what the heck do you do with them all. When rock painting I had so many painted rocks I could of built a stone village 😅 I don’t drive so I couldn’t hide them. So one day a friend said “sell them”I just laughed at her. So I started doing that it wasn’t for much just to help with maybe cost of a few supplies. I find since I found your channel and you Dawn I have a 2nd wind and I look forward to watching what is next. I love your style along with your personality, your a beautiful person inside and out! Tamy - thank you so much! I'm so thrilled you are enjoying my videos. And yes....art supplies...I spend way too much money there too!😂😂😂 Posca pens are awesome, aren't they? So versatile! As for what I do with my art....I sell some of it on my website and at local shows. And I have huge stacks of art that just make me happy to look at and go through. Haha! My kids may hate it one day, but for now.....that's what I do. I''m participating in Art & Found Day this year, so I'll be hiding some free art around town too, much like people do with rocks. Finding a good white pen can be super frustrating. My favorite of all time is the Uni-ball Signo UM-153. I will always have at least 6 on my desk at any given time. For slightly thicker, but still very thin, lines I really like the White Linen paint pen by Ranger, the Delusions line.
