Fe absolutely gets talked about as if it’s “nice” when it can really be not nice at all ! Agreed ! When Fe users think their concept of what is good and bad in every context is the golden and only standard , and anything that “threatens” the buffering to ideals they believe are the best for everyone (do they really know what everyone actually values ? Bec we don’t all value social harmony as the nicest thing to uphold. Sometimes fi is much nicer. Sometimes ti believe it or not can be “nicer” it all depends on the context the people involved the situation. Sometimes diluting individuality and “lack of social harmony” isn’t actually NICE lol. In fact I’d argue they assume THEIR OWN DISCOMFORT with social disharmony is shared among all. And can elect themselves defenders enforcers in very not nice ways at times of avoiding that PROJECTED discomfort OF THEIR OWN Into all of everyone. It can be very presumptuous and kind of arrogant that way when they’re dead wrong. Whatever ideal they believe is true may or may not actually be true for the group or individuals in front of them at the time. And even if it is , upholding the group can often also enable and maintain more nefarious and unhealthy out of balance group dynamics where certain players are constantly ignored neglected or dismissed. Fe DOES NOT EQUAL NICENESS. lol it equals external peacefulness. What they do to create or maintain that can be really horrible in the eyes of many others tho. I find the split from inauthenticity so they’re putting on with you, really gross for example. I resent being essential faked to lol I do not get uncomfortable if we disagree I would much pre highly value a Person not thinking they have a right and also add that they’re doing me a favour lol by being an agreeable yes man. Who said I or anybody even wants that ? Ijs ! lol (not shitting on them tho they like any functions can be incredibly considerate and sweet as well I’m just sick to death of this false equating with Fe and niceness lol. People Pleasing isn’t kindness :/ lol and bullying a group into fake superficial getting along isn’t doing favours for many as well Lolol anywhooooo

Réna is a good person, if she were an ENFJ with a strong tendency towards Se & Thinking functions, she would definitely be a more selfish, competitive, & materialistic ENFJ, so she would try to bring down other types but still with her Fe expressiveness. But she is an ENFJ with Fe-Ni tendencies, so she doesn't do that ❤

Interesting discovery by Dario Nardi. ESFPs are such underrated individuals in the MBTI community, they deserve more recognition

It sound a lot like multiple sclerosis which is another autoimmune disease. Unfortunately most of these conditions are caused by repressing your authentic self, needs and emotions. As an INTP, I also suffer from fibromyalgia and have dysregulated nervous system. The most painful part is that no one understands your pain even your family because doctors can't find it. If anyone have some form of disease in their body that can't be diagnosed, I strongly recommend them to read the book called When The Body Says No by Gabor Mate and also Body Keeps The Score by Bessel van der Kolk. Also you can watch the videos of Gabor Mate on youtube and hopefully it could light a bulb in your head.

So Ni is basically like J (judging) manifested in the form of intuition, and Ne is like P (Peceiving) manifested in the form of intuition... Now it makes sense why every personality with a J in their cognitive stack never has Ne in their top 2 dominant functions (& vice versa; every personality with a P never has Ni their top 2 dominant functions). Once one is a Perceiver (or as l like to call them, "Subjective thinkers" who like to see things as mostly subjective with many possibilities) they automatically can't have Ni as a dominant function... Similarly, once one is a Judger (an Objective thinker who likes to boil down all subjective possibilities into one Objective reality/truth), they can't have Ne as a dominant function... It seems like Perceiving and Judging are intrinsically entangled/linked to Ni and Ne (particularly for the intuitive xNxx types). If my summation is true, that means Ni is essentially Objective Intuition, and Ne is Subjective Intuition.

As an INTP with and INTJ best friend all three of these match both of us

I think INFJ’s are the small percentage of the total population that possess character building that the rest of the world could learn from.

Ni is the head, philosophy, the essence of everything. Ni-users are the people you can rely on when you need a meaning/direction/purpose in life. Si is the body, material comfort, practicality. Si-users are the people you can rely on when you need physical or material support.

You are correct about Joe Biden, Dario. My dad is a dominant ESFJ and so reminds me of him in certain ways.

I'm without a doubt a ESTJ Creative, Creative-Dominant to be specific.

Ps. I also wanted to become a teacher! First in theatre, later in elementary school. But I felt there was no connection with art, spirituality and nature. I missed the “soulfulness” in teaching positions. So now I am trying to accept being an ENFJ and “a teacher” but I just don’t feel comfortable in the current schoolsystem. I want to live according to life’s teaching, and feel like people are my teacher and sometimes I am a teacher. I want to live in that middle ground inbetween us, the teaching. I just want to “teach” people to find their own nature… by living IN and with nature ❤️ It’s nice to hear all of you have this longing to connect with humans! Lately I have been contemplating about becoming a naturopathic doctor, or maybe extent my mindfulness coaching or perhaps a forest bathing coach. Such lovely options! How amazing we live in a world we can try out!

ENFJ 2w3 SO here. I also love the very different flavors of ENFJ! It’s wonderful. Lovely conclusion. I enjoyed you sharing your gratitude. I know my mission is to have heart-to-heart connections with people and as long as I do a job where I can have a harmonious atmosphere with my team, I can do what I came to do on Earth. I work in a lovely ecological health food store and live in a cute little cottage on the countryside, in a small neighborhood with lovely neighbors and their animals (whom I love). I am educated in both arts and theatre. I give mindfulness retreats, make paintings and I give one-on-one spiritual coaching whenever someone asks (and is genuinely interested in doing the work). I have an extra room in my little home, just for receiving small groups to meditate or understand life/oneself through art/theatre. I absolutely adore my little vegetable gardens. It’s great to earn my money in an ethical way in a great team & not having to earn a living from my passion: (mother) nature, art, spirituality.

Thank goodness INFJ’s make up less than 2% of the population.

Fi likes to romanticize many things & give feelings to everything, that's why healthy ISFPs are romantic & artistic & have good skills in interacting with people & children & animals. They are great art workers & intimate partners. Meanwhile, Ti likes to eliminate romanticization & feelings in order to get an objective point of view, that's why healthy ISTPs are the first to learn new facts/methods that no one else has previously discovered. These are the people you can rely on in fields that require high levels of logic & objectivity. But still don't trust them 100% cus they are still human, no human in this world can know everything objectively, we always have biases. But I think mature people will be able to balance their functions so the differences won't be too striking.

I get ESTJ/ENTJ a lot. But I think I'm an ISTP. MY N & S are very close on the test. Are there similarities between ISTP and the other two types?

I don't know why but all the ISFJs I met were very sensitive, from my friends to my teacher & lecturer, everyone was offended by my RBF as an INTJ without i'm even trying to offend them 😂😂 But when I met INTPs/Ti-dom/parent, it was my turn to be offended by their words 😂😂

Rationality is a virtue. Most people aren’t virtuous, most people prefer leverage. The reasons INTP stay away from leverage is because they feel as if they already got it. They feel as if they understand the map and the game very intimately, so they’d rather operate within that framework.

I agree with the other commenters who mentioned that his viewpoint on autonomy is similar to an INFP's. We also believe in giving the person the freedom to choose what makes sense to them. However, with pessimistic Ne, I can foresee the bad consequences of a person's actions and if I care about them , I will try to warn them about it.

So what is the tangible aspect of MBTI? There must be one because he is involved in it. ;-) Want to say: I do not support this defintion. ISFPs are not automatically anti intellectual simps.

Whereas OPS tells people that Te, and Fe are the tribe functions, basicallly you could in fact say that basically all the external functions, including the extraverted perceiving functions, are in a sense 'tribe functions' (although calling something 'just' a tribe and nothing more function is too simplisfic). However, people with extraverted perceiving functionsoften like perceiving things together (Se will likely prefer _doing_ things toegether and prefer Ne _talking_ though their perceptions together). So Ne wants to see what the other members of the 'tribe' have perceived too, but yet in the end it will still retur to the self in order to judge all these perceptions. Perceiving together for Ne might be watching tv together while making commentary if things they see make sense or not or sharing ideas with eachother. With Se it might be more that they like _doing things together_ yet unlike Tribe do not transform into 1 mob of people that all have the same (logical) opinions in the end. It's more about being individuals, yet connected in some sense by sharing information, basically like the internet was initially (not really controlled by anyone really). Also, in another sense everyone puts differnet things on the internet , yet _you_ decide yourself what you're going to agree with. If P typeshave Ti/Ne, they will discuss if it makes sense may watch youtube together or point out how things seem illogical to eachother, but no do expect the other to automatically fall in line like Fe/Te more or less expect. So in the phase before the decision making, they might also want to be informed by your perceptions perceptions and include them them if they perceive you have perceptions that are not too biased, unclear or what not. . However, in the end the will still decide and judge things themselves with their own judging functions, because these judging functions are internal and may assume you will want to do that too on our own and will likely not push some idea on you. However, they might tell you their own reasoning about it, but by doing that they just want you to judge it on your too before you agree with it. (I've as Ti-dom had Te users who liked my reasoning so much that they started to just imported whatever I thought, whereas to me that feels wrong. They should always _judge themselves_ if they think that makes sense to themselves too). In the case of informing others, they will likely inform you more about what is logical if they are T types and even their perceptions might be aimed towards perceptions that are somewhat related to thinking rather than feeling (value judge). If you give feeling based info to them, the will likely analyse it in a Ti sense rather than strongly support your moral stance or go against your moral stance. Even if they will join in giving moral stances, will likely also be somewhat moderate in their moral views, as Fe "moral views" are more grey, meaning leaning slighly more towards a view where everything is equal than the introverted functions which might be more extreme good/bad (FI) or right/wrong (Ti)) rather than go along with a more extreme stance (which Fi) can see things as more extreme than Fe typically.
