I count myself lucky I was typed early and as an ENTP, we r so misunderstood and judged
I told a therapist a long time ago, ‘feeling’ development is like an old negative film with two colors and then the picture is developed but it’s definitely not a dominant function.
I have a brother who is also an ENTP and he owns his own business as a tax preparer. I tried it and loved it bec it’s a challenge to find legal routes to get to the lowest tax costs for his clients
Thank you Dario and Joyce. I thought I was an INTJ for over a decade before getting typed by multiple people in the OPS system. The overwhelming outcome was Normalizing subtype ENTP. It's really refreshing to hear about ENTPs that aren't the Joker or trolling unhealthy version so often archetyped.
Able to work within a system, adding levity to the day, technical acumen, liking new people & cultures, able to handle complex itinerary, maximizing loopholes (thanks to a really big bag of tricks)? OMG, I've spent the last 16 years running the venue side of events at a museum dedicated to one of the world's best-known brands. Check all the boxes.
Your comment Joyce about how ENTPs carry around a bunch of things was so amusing to me! When I play RPGs I carry EVERYTHING in my bags and I have been called on it! My excuse? I never know what I might need and when....remember that ONE time I needed that ONE item!?
I play TTRPGs and I have a tendency to stuff my characters’ pockets with a bunch of useless crap.
Funnily enough, I am pretty carefree with consumables like potions and wands and scrolls and grenades. I think I realized sometime back while playing D&D 4e that consumable items were way undercosted for their effect, so going hog wild with them would enable lulzy results. I soon learned that this pattern holds for a lot of video games and TTRPGs.
Thank God now we can put that chaotic type in some type of a category 😂😂
9:05 through 11:42: interesting. I typed UDUF ENTJ by an expert; ENTP by another; and ENFP by a few others. Dario’s anecdotes here were helpful.
Investigating further, I identify with ILE (ENTp) Sociotype and interestingly, as an ENTP-D, Dario mentioned abt Dominant subtypes looking like Te users. On Socionics, ILE's Te is placed as 8th function under ID Block (strong, but not valued functions). Meaning, while Te is strong, it is often neglected. Te is good at learning factual information, but in contrast to high Te users, the focus of ILEs are not the efficiency and effectivity when using Te, but the gathering of knowledge. ID Block functions of ILE (Ni and Te) are strong (but not valued) and continually work in the background supporting the Ego Block (strong and valued functions: Ne Lead and Ti Creative). Interesting video! :)

Oh, should add I’m ENFP Creative/Harmonizing. I spent most of my life as a creative subtype. I moved into Harmonizing subtype about 2 years ago. I just “got it” that now my role was to mentor others and contribute to their future. It was a visceral experience. I felt the shift to a Harmonizing focus in my body. Wish I could describe it better.
