      @@junioroliveira6027 I have no idea what that means. INFJs can be ambiverted absolutely but sociable? If they're So dominant, sure. I think Tori Amos is a good example of that.

      @@mr.j8568 I don't believe in such thing, ambivert. If you're focused mostly on spending energy on or receiving or perceiving, acting, feeling, from the objective world, you are an extrovert by definition, regardless if you are quiet reserved.

      @@junioroliveira6027 I agree completely. I was just saying that "maybe" for the sake of argument but yeah, you either are or you're not. My Mother is an INFJ and a fairly typical one at that. I didn't know such sociable INFJs existed. Now, I typed J.M. as a 926, she says she's SX dominant but her ways scream SO Dom especially considering that the 926 archetype is typically going to be 9w1 SO/SX (or SP) which would make sense BUT your auxiliary variant is actually where you're most comfortable so SX/SO works especially considering J.M gives off tremendous sx energy - from my perspective anyway.

    ESTP
    My experience was that Fi trickster was even more difficult to navigate, due to childhood trauma and abuse. Coping strategies I learned early, obscured Fi to the point that it caused real damage.
    I got EMDR treatment from a skilled professional, around this. It really helped and really freed up stuck emotions, to the point that I can use them to help navigate through life.
    As an ESTP, I certainly don't trust feelings to make final decisions. But they can help me steer, now.
    The way that the 8 functions interact with powerful early development influences fascinates me, but not being an NT type, it seems to be a complex labyrinth, more than a tool that offers actionable applications to me.
    That's when i revert to empiricism, like EMDR.

    Very much appreciating the Jungian perspective rather than that of just MBTI folk. It goes deep nice and early. More like this, please.

    ....An ENTP example, among many, of the more accurate explanation behind the infamous glass ceiling- That women will often choose family over promotion right around the time the biological clock collides with the executive suite. ( a well known Jordon Peterson talking point. ) How much impact Fi trickster played then, is questionable. imo

    • @barrydworak
      @barrydworak 4 місяці тому

      Related: employers and people who make their living off ideology, use the trickster to confuse.
      Empirical example: men have jobs. Even CEOs don't talk about their "career." Women often think of their jobs as "careers", a perception encouraged by past feminist "thought leaders" and used by employers to manipulate.
      Maybe the biological clock wakes some women from the deception. "Dude! I have a JOB. No job is worth sacrificing what I value."
      Others don't have this epiphany, at least, while it matters.

      Obviously this issue is not black and white, both can be true at once. Not all women will be called and compelled to a career in technology/engineering where they reach the heights at a FAANG company like this woman did. She is both an ENTP getting in touch with her Fi and there is probably some degree of maternal instinct at play here.

    • @barrydworak
      @barrydworak 4 місяці тому +2

      @sugarmagnolia33 it can cut both ways. Fi trickster would seem to be susceptible to external validation.
      Someone in a social milieu where motherhood is considered to be the highest or sole value worth having, might wake up one day and discover an internal desire to put her energy into something totally different.
      Either way, I think the pitfall is that trickster Fi can be easily deceived.
      "Career" is a value laden word. Men don't use it to refer to their jobs. Only women conditioned in certain ways, do. This is a sign that there's manipulation afoot, and manipulators by definition are trying to deceive us into doing something for them, at the cost of our own values.

    This guest proves that you can talk a lot while saying very little about the actual topic, other than her one example of the Google rep who got fired. As an INFP who was married to an ESTP for several years, I had high hopes for this episode but this guest really disappointed in her limited insights. She barely even attended to the subject of Fi trickster. Was hoping for a lot more than what she actually presented.

    High Si users tend to be good with numbers? That’s a really inaccurate broad stroke 😅 I am Si Demon and I am the best/fastest mathematician I know. The stronger Si users I have in my life (ESFJ and ISTJ) are not good at maths.

    • @00Klingon
      @00Klingon 3 місяці тому

      Numbers are not particularly associated with Si use. Endurance and mental fortitude, yes. High Si and Te combined might be helpful, especially when dealing with a slog of detail (like a computer algorithm), but Ni and Te is probably the best for complex math (especially in figuring out missing information). That said, our 8th function can be one of our strongest when fully developed, beyond a hero function for short durations, but those shadow functions can be uncomfortable to use for long and we should be careful not to allow its use to become unhealthy.
