Yes, if you replace injector gaskets as I suggested in the video, then you will not experience any of that. This engine is not related to Ford. It is Mazda's design.

Hi, I'm not familiar with the fault. The malfunctioning injector doesn't have that much influence on other injectors. Usually, we replace those with high-correction values. If you have any doubts, you can always swap them...

Yes, and to fix the issue, you can apply some piece of rubber onto the tip of that switch, and the problem will disappear.

So, if the audio unit is replaced, try to disconnect the card reader and test it. That wiring diagram is related to the audio without the Bose system, and if fuse is still blown after the disconnection of the card reader, then on the line should be another consumer, which contributes to blow the fuse.

@joelmorrison7716 As far as remember, it was somewhere under the IC left side closer to A pillar and the fuse box, grey in colour. On the wiring diagram, it was shown just as one wire, but the connector comprises more than twenty wires, so to locate it, you need to trace by probing. That is all I can help you with, I suggest obtaining a wiring diagram because there are many otions of diagrams available, and it will be easier for you.

When new HLAs are installed (Mazda origina), then they are ready to use. So once installed, just turn the crankshaft a few times to be certain that there's no surprise. That's what I do.

Hi, the injector screw goes to the head engine, not to the camshaft holder (camshaft cap). Those screws crack when the injector is overtightened, and I would drill in the middle of the bolt and use a bolt remover.

The first time, I used approximately the same time, and then after some practise, it was around 1h, but we repaired hundreds of them.

Hey, thanks for watching. As long as the part is genuine, you can buy even on amazon. Someone reported that the pliers are no longer available, but you will remove the connector by pressing it with any tool, even hand.

Actually, that video should be a good guide for frame replacement.

If we talk about the trip meter, then it is a little long knob sticking out from the Instrument Cluster, press that. You may use the owners' manuals, and there is a good description as well.

@@JB_Auto above that...on the dashboard. The overhead display i think? That little plastic screen that pops up and is supposed to show the mileage. I reset the whole console and it works now.

Hi, Exhaust 17.91mm, Inlet 16.80mm; you can also differentiate them by identification paint, so the inlet is always green at the top of the spring, and the Exhaust could be pink or yellow.

Don’t know how it looks like in other countries, but in Europe dilerships repairs are very costly, regardless of what you fixing.

Who cleans damaged lifters? Check in advance if they are malfunctioning, remaining clean to achieve maximal performance. And of course you can change them all.

There should be no rebound at all, collapsed HLAs happens but that is on rather bad condition engines, with neglected oil replacement.

😂 good idea with covering. Sometimes, WD40 works fine.

I've never replaced one, chains are very robust. if necessary replacement then you will hear noises but earlier a fault code related to correlation.

You need to try if there is lots of contamination then it may help.

You need a proper diagnosis, not guessing😉 I would go to the dealership; technicians are well-trained and experienced and will quickly figure that out for you. Based on your description, I can't help you much. The only help I can offer is to use my videos as resources, and it may guide you to the solution. In many cases, you may need to remove some parts for verification, not guessing, and, most importantly, proper diagnosis.

It could be o-rings or OCV itself. Check also valve cover and around.

@@JB_Auto Thank you. I just took a look today and it seems the breather on the rocker cover was blocked with carbon due to injector leaking. So i think the rocker was over pressurising causing the leak. In your experience can i reuse the rocker cover gasket? also the can the injector rubber seals on the rocker be reused?

@@kas5857 I prefer to replace them every time, but if gaskets are recently replaced and looking good... it is up to you

Hi, remove the top garnish from the mirror housing to get access to the power supply wiring and disconnect it from the mirror motor.

Hi, the easiest way is to remove the map sensor and check for soot using an inspection camera. Another way is to remove the hose connected to the intake shutter valve and inspect the inlet manifold that way. If you see reduced flow of air into to inlet manifold due to an excessive amount of soot it is almost certainly the reason. MAF sensor test is very important due to frequent malfunction.

@@JB_Auto thanks. The MAP sensor was clogged but the sooth wasn't sticky and came off relatively easy with a toothpick and an air compressor. The EGR pipe had about 3-4 millimeters of dry sooth and the mechanic said it's acceptable. He's not familiar with this engine so I took it with a grain of salt. I'm getting the P0101 so will swap my MAF sensor with a friend who has the same model to exclude that possibility.

@@arpad-istvanozsvath6195 Yes that's good idea check also possible causes I mentioned at the beginning of the video. P0101 can be triggered even though you have so called acceptable amount of soot. Sometimes it's a lengthy process of diagnosis that's also depends on engine condition.

Hi, I've been asked many times about that. The fastest way is to remove the connector from the folding motor. So, remove the mirror glass, and You should be able to reach the connector; if there is no access, remove the top garnish. You can do that without the removal of the whole mirror.

Hi, thanks for watching. In this video I'm using Mazda IDS, You can utilize any high-end diagnostics tools. I never use no name or cheap tools, I was always disappointed. For Mazda or japanese vehicles the best tools are from their geographic location, that's my opinion. 🙂

There is never too much safety, and I agree, but to find that thin round bar made of softer material would be a real headache 😉

@@JB_Auto I was thinking e.g. a solid 12gauge or 10gauge electrical copper wire (after insulation removed). Those should be strong enough and won't scratch hardened surfaces for sure 😀

The best way is to remove all injectors and perform a visual inspection. Exhaust smell doesn't necessarily mean washers are gone, but it's wise to check and replace them.
