Differential Pressure Sensor, Exhaust Pressure Sensor. How to diagnose? Reference data, DTCs

The diagnosis is performed on a Mazda 2.2 Skyactiv diesel; it applies to all model ranges equipped with such sensors.

Possible fault codes for the Differential Pressure Sensor are P2454 and P2455.
Possible DTCs for Exhaust Pressure Sensor No. 1 are P0472 and P0473.

If the car suddenly starts to get more frequent dpf regen, 160 km (used to be around 260 km) could it be the differential sensor?

Yes, it could. Therefore, I utilised that reference data as in the video to be able to exculde or include that sensor during diagnosis.

@hkk210 It is possible but very rare. It should be checked during diagnosis.

I have an oil leak from near the oil control valve. Any ideas what it may be?

It could be o-rings or OCV itself. Check also valve cover and around.

@@JB_Auto Are both prone to fail? do you have the part number of the o-rings?

@@kas5857 Most likely is the valve cover gasket, you should evaluate.

@@JB_Auto Thank you. I just took a look today and it seems the breather on the rocker cover was blocked with carbon due to injector leaking. So i think the rocker was over pressurising causing the leak. In your experience can i reuse the rocker cover gasket? also the can the injector rubber seals on the rocker be reused?

@@kas5857 I prefer to replace them every time, but if gaskets are recently replaced and looking good... it is up to you
