Thx for posting this video! Was able to remedy it quickly with your video's guidance. Swapped out the fuse and my screen/speakers started working again.

My Mazda cx5 having a problem with the air conditioner, headlights, indicator lights and brake light it cuts out randomly while driving . It drives great as usual but when I pull over and shut the engine off then start it up back its to normal . What could be the problem?

Based on your description, I would suspect a body ground problem' that is not a common issue.

Hi there I have a similar issue I believe on the same model car (however it has the BOSE system). I've been having battery issues and my infotainment screen went black. My phone can still connect to the bluetooth, however it does not play any sound. Does it make sense it is just a blown fuse for the audio/infotainment system? I know the bluetooth unit is separate from another one of your videos.

I would check the fuse and power supply to the audio unit, power supply should be the same in the BOSE system.

I checked all of my fuses related to the AUDIO UNIT / BOSE (so 3 of them). How do I check the power supply?@@JB_Auto

@jackshenfield8915 Remove audio unit and pull out the connector as on video, then check if you have continuity on positive wire between the fuse and connector, check ground as well.

@@JB_Auto Is it short circuiting in the audio unit because two wires overlapped that are not supposed to? Does this mean that there is constantly electricity flowing when the car is off?

@jackshenfield8915 In the video we had a problem with the audio unit where an internal short circuit occurred, which was the reason for the blown fuse. The fuse was blowing right after the ignition was on. In your case, if fuses are good, then check the power supply to the unit, to evaluate if you have an issue with that or the audio unit.

We are having a very similar issue but it's not constant... the fuse blows after about 10 - 30 minutes driving and there is no pattern to this
We have changed the head unit and a visual inspection has been done of the wires but there are no issues.
    Any help would be appreciated..
Also am I right thinking the c-03 connector is the grey one on the navigation reader?
    Thanks

So, if the audio unit is replaced, try to disconnect the card reader and test it. That wiring diagram is related to the audio without the Bose system, and if fuse is still blown after the disconnection of the card reader, then on the line should be another consumer, which contributes to blow the fuse.

@JB_Auto thanks for the reply... yes I have checked this aswell and it still blows. I am beginning to think it's the wire shorting somewhere because it only happens when driving

Where is the c-03 connector. I have been trying to find it but no joy

@joelmorrison7716 As far as remember, it was somewhere under the IC left side closer to A pillar and the fuse box, grey in colour. On the wiring diagram, it was shown just as one wire, but the connector comprises more than twenty wires, so to locate it, you need to trace by probing. That is all I can help you with, I suggest obtaining a wiring diagram because there are many otions of diagrams available, and it will be easier for you.
