Symptoms on vehicles with the auto folding mirror.
When the driver's door is opened or closed, the mirror moves, and the central lock goes on and off.
Without auto-folding mirrors, symptoms are the same apart from the movement of the mirror.
Another symptom is when you gently touch the inner lock knob, central lock actuators go for some time by themselves.
Can not lock the car.
Wow very nice job ❤️❤️👏
Thanks
👏👏
Same problem here on my mazda 6 2017... any hints? the part is kind of expensive.
The part is not expensive, and the replacement is relatively easy, and all the hints in the video 🙂
Do you have part numbers please?
@@JB_Auto
@@JB_Auto do you know the part number please?
@@MM-hq1vn Parts are available based on VIN at local Mazda dealership. I do not post part numbers because it is depended on equipment level, and there are many options available to the same model year.
Hello I talked you before my mazda skyactiv 2.2 is hesitating on low rpm around 2000 rpm but is fine after any suggestions thanks
You're welcome! So what was final solution?
@@JB_Auto sorry meant to say it only started doing this would you have come across problem like this before
@@heplmefix ok, check inlet manifold and intake shutter valve for soot (people call it throttle boody)
What is exactly the problem with the lock, mine was changed 2 years ago and now the symptoms come back. It is not normal to change the lock every 2 years
The problem is an internal malfunction of the door latch. To be honest, that issue is rare, So I'm surprised that you going to replace it for the second time, I've replaced that in a few cars out of hundreds sold. I would check the wiring and connections first before you replace it again.
@@JB_Auto thanks for te reply, I will checked it first but I hear from others here in the Netherlands it is a know issue.
Hello,i have a question if you don`t mind,i have a mazda 6 2.2 skyactiv 2015 with auto gearbox, whenever i push the throttle hard doesn`t matter the gear i`m in ,i get a grinding noise almost like metal and some vibration coming from left side,it is very audible and the vibration can be felt pretty clearly, however if i push the throttle slowly and accelerate progressively doesn`t make the noise . I`ved changed the rotors and brake pads noise still persist, verified the axle joint and no damage seen..I`m starting to believe that is my transmission that makes the noise maybe the torque converter but at the same time didn`t notice variation in accelometer or gear slipping or power lost.Have you ever encounter something like this.Thank you very much and sry for my spelling ,i`m not native.love your videos.
the first mechanic told me it`s the gearbox so i gotta go to someone more specealised into the repair of the gearbox.
Hi, we had a case where the gearbox was noisy, that was on the first model of CX5 it may appear on M6, what you need to check is: lift the car and put it on D, drive it until the noise is audible and check where it is coming from, if the gearbox is noisy, you will need to replace it, do it at dealership because, after replacement, the technician needs to perform all the procedures, I do not think it's available aftermarket.
@@JB_Auto thank you very much for your rapide response, unfurtunately the dealer is not an option, the car is out of warranty and they are very expensive, not to mention that they have a somehow bad reputation around here(paris),anyway keep up with your videos,i find them very usefull.have a nice day sir.
@@JB_Auto Hello again, sry to bother you with yet another question, turns out that my transmission differential is busted and they asking 5500 euros to change it saying that they must remove the tranny to do so,is this true?the service manual for fw6a-el says we can change the differential without removing the gearbox if i`m not mistaken. The parts are 1k euros max so the rest is labor wich i find rather expensive.any info on the matter is greatly apreciated .ty very much again and a nice day to you.
@@gabsams4995 Hi the differential seats in the ATX which is the automatic transmission, so they need to remove. Then they need to split the ATX to repair it. We replaced the whole transmission so the job took approximately 6-7h so you need to add additional repair time of differential. Have a nice day too🙂
This is what is happening to my 2019 MX-5.
That is very rare issue but good to know, thanks for the comment.
