Thank you, I was coming here only to find
How to remove windshield sensors case for Mazda CX-5
Thank you
Thanks 👍
What glue do you use for mounting the bracket? Thank you for making this video, we got our windscreen replaced and the guy didnt finish the job. Never check the rain sensor
That's became very common the job is not finished. We use any two components multi purpose glue, I do not remember exact brand.
Will this sheet fit a 2020 mazda cx-9 GT? thanks in advance.
Hii please info, what is the name for masa biante non skyactive?
Friend I have a problem with the sensor of the automatic lights of my mazda, the warning light appears on the dashboard, and the rain sensor came off, will you know if changing the lens solves the problem?
Hi, The sunlight/rain sensor shouldn't trigger DTC's for Auto Lights, (the sensor may not discover mist on the windscreen, therefore FSC forward sensing camera may not work properly) you should replace the sensor as a first thing if there is some malfunction. Then diagnose auto lights.
Hello. What products did you use to glue the sensor on the windshield? Kind regards.
Hi, for the bracket as on video universal glue dual ingredient applicable for metal, plastic, glass whatever brand, and between sensor and windshield goes protective sheet part number C513665G2 available at Mazda's dealership only.
@@JB_Auto thanks you so much!
You are welcome!
@@JB_Auto can I use gorilla mounting tape?
I would use glue, there is not enough surface for the tape and it may come off under vibrations.
I really need to know the glue use to stick the clip to the windshield since I can't seem to find an answer. It came off twice even when worked on by auto-glass guys. Can you please tell me?
We use: Kent Metal Epoxy Adhesive or Kent Rapid Bond. I just searched google and there popping up many other brands, you can try Loctite Power epoxy and so on.
@@JB_Auto ok thanks. I will try it.
Cuál es la referencia del componente o adhesivo con el cual fija el sensor?
@CamiloCastroEscorcia The part number needed for fixing the issue is given both in the video and the description 🙂
Hello. My rain sensor is actually working, it can trigger the wiper if i put my finger into the black cover behind the rearview mirror. However it is not attached with the windscreen now
Should i replace the protective sheet and using glue to put it back to the windscreen again?
Thank you
No, the protective sheet is self-adhesive.
@@JB_Auto thank you. If I unplug the rain sensor and replace the film. Afterward i reconnect it back to my car. Any setting i need to reset or it will work directly? Thank you
it is just plug and play🙂
I stick the bracket to the windscreen by glue because it dropped and i replaced the new film as well
when i put the sensor with new film back to windscreen
Some bubble will appear in the middle in the next day
Is it the new film not adhesive enough?
Thank you
@@benhui6038 I believe that there's too big a gap between the bracket and the windscreen, therefore the air bubble has popped up, I had the same problem with one of the cars, one more option is that the sensor is not properly mounted in the bracket.
This looks like 3m transparent double sided tape
