A high school student that has spent a great deal of time with veterans, historical witnesses, authors, politicians, and historians. Many of the videos on this channel consist of interviews with people who have lived through significant historical events. Most of the content you'll see here comprises veteran interviews and the occasional mini-documentary. My main goal is to have as many WWII veterans and survivors on here as possible to allow them to share their stories. Email me at LukeB.Filmperia@gmail.com if you have any suggestions or would like to arrange a Zoom call.

I wonder if this clever and kind lady ever reflect on a thought that she was an accomplice to suicide of her agent. I don’t blame her but when she says “it was his choice” I wonder how much it helps
Very informative . Thanks
WELL WELL AMERICAN HAVE SAME METODS LIKE RUSSIAN , COUNTRY FIRST ABOVE ANYTHINK
The Trigon story is famous, it is so nice to hear the other side of the story. Trigon didn't just kill himself to avoid torture, he killed himself to protect all his secrets. The use of females is the classic use the enemies cultural assumptions against them.
Martha, I remember you in Moscow. We played darts at the embassy with you and Steve. You are amazing
We were in Moscow and met Martha Peterson at the American Embassy. We used to play darts with her and another guy named Steve. My husband was with Pan American Airways. I have her book "The Widow Spy".
Tulsi Gabard is a Russian spy 😮
When you don't like the truth. Attack the person's credibility 😢
She is a very nice, sincere lady, but I defer to Oliver Stone regarding the dark side of the CIA.
She rambles on so aimlessly and is so boring, I can't see her being a good spy , unless she bored her followers to death.
Thank you for this interview and sharing it with us. I found it thoroughly interesting and informative…..
The CIA is an evil as the KGB
Wow!! As this amazing woman was chatting, I could visualize her steps picking up and delivering. What a treasure she was and is. Thank you for the story!
Now the CIA works inside the US
A real bad-ass grandma. I wish i knew her when she was 27..... This most have been an experience!
Hey Martha, I used to travel to Russia up until a couple of years before the chicom virus. I've been numerous times on business. You're not missing anything. Russia is a hole. I hated every minute i was there. Met some friends that I email occasionally, but other than that, its good riddance. Its just a dirty hole with a McDonalds and some flashing lights here and there. Grumpy, mopey people. Too much traffic in the big cities, just like anywhere else. I don't miss it at all. Bunch of drunks. Can't tell you how many fatalities I've seen where drunks were hit by cars and you'd see them laid out dead in the street. I hate freakin' vodka and I can't tell you how much of it I've drank because that's what they do. Every business dinner everyone ends up wasted because the vodka comes out. Best thing that ever happened was the chicom virus and Putin invading Ukraine. Now I'll never have to go back.
Good video to watch since I just ordered a book on the lives of the first four women in the CIA when it was a legit outfit.
She is such a brave woman.💝
Are enemies are within now
Very true
Very smart interesting woman in a fascinating life
Communism stinks
Wow cameras in fountain pens
parkplatz is a german wrord so this is in DDR and not in moscow, the best spy is the one you will never think is one
Ladies interested in a woman who lived a very eventual life during and between the two world wars should search for Gusti Stridsberg, an Austrian heiress who became a communist sympathizer, journalist, Soviet agent, nurse during the Spanish Civil War, and much more.....
The problem she had was they kgb in Moscow doesn't need to follow , they have checkpoints and just my personal experience she traveled way too much for somebody who had a job to work and then travel for hours and hours . It's not common 😅 .
You obviously know nothing
When your grandma is a straight badass!!
Hilarious
Not surprised at all. 1. A few years ago, I was at a dance program in Bakersfield. War by war, starting with WW2, veterans and/or widows/widowers of service people were asked to stand. As the wars went by, more and more women were standing. When it came to the Gulf Wars, the women rising outnumbered the men. I was impressed. 2. Never underestimate the skills and potential of other people.
Your husband trained “Irregular troops”? You mean terrorists? 😂. Glad you helped stab our ally against the Nazis in the back? Pay off traitors? How can this woman not be embarrassed by her arrogance?
Who really thinks the Cold War ended ?
True more about superpower imperialism
Wow. English for 2 seconds, American for 2000.
The KGB did employ women, though not nessasaraly agents, to seduce embassy employees and marine guards to obtain information.
2:14 ... seems like a rational decision. "my husband got himself killed worked for these dipshits. why don't I give it a try?"
The 70's were very interesting times, and she was a very capable and brave lady. God Bless you and thank you. Mikhail
"committed suicide during interrogation" - the coomon account about this story is very much incredible. KGB operatives should have Ogorodnik hand-cuffed, put him into van and get him to Lefortovo KGB detention center. All interrogations should be done just after that in prison ONLY. Instead, we are told about poisoned pen, suicide, and all that BS. It's an absolutely incredible lie. Just look at the footage of catching the GT-SPHERA agent, Adolf Tolkacheff (here on the UT, "Агент Сфера или 10 миллиардов сребреников") and the way the operatives handled him.
Great learning experience Martha, my blessings to your late husband John. Congrads on moving forward in life and making a difference. You Rock...!
Well done Martha. 👍👍👍
If true, this video would have been a blockbuster with millions of views just for the reason that a CIA agent is stating that " we had a lot of indicators that they were planning something big " before 911.
A true CIA person would never share this type of stuff in a YT video.
She really was just a low level clerk lol
You know nothing
Amazing courage!
Husband was killed 15 months on the job and she thought it is good idea to start with the same job . Lol
Young and stupid. Been there.
KGB did use women! lol 😂 Also it was men that as always suffer the most, at hands of other men, more than women, women have the power of suduction, at their disposal unless you your a man who bumps into a gay man, and then you can seduce a Russian lol 😂
Fascinating!
INSPIRING.!!!
Polygraphed? Do they still take that seriously?
Used as an interrogation tool, voice stress analysis is more important
She's very impressive. Bravo lady.
Superlative. Pure storytelling
Disgusting
I read a book about this guy, 'Trigon'. I believe it was in the book 'Moscow Rules' by Tony and Jonna Mendez.
Bravo ma’am, much love and respect from this English man and awful to hear about your husband. 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇸🗽⚽️
Soviet Union was one of the greatest evils. "You live in the heaven, and if you don't agree, you will be shot right in the head". Breaks my heart, that now in Russia this attitude is getting kinda reversed, it's being viewed as a glorious empire rather than murderous hell hole which it was.
Oh, yes. She faught like a bull during her apprehension at the brigde in Moscow
