Growing up in the Blitz as a teenager during WWII | Historical witness interview

Meet 94-year-old Tessa Frank, my great-aunt in England. As a child, she recalls the Abdication of King Edward VIII in December 1936. Tessa was 10 years old when World War II broke out, which caused her to move to various locations across England. Winston Churchill became her hero as the Battle of Britain started. She remembers the Blitz and, later on, the V1/V2 Rocket attacks across her country. Tessa was 16 years old when the war ended.
