Survivor of Nazi medical experiments explains the history of the Holocaust | Sami Steigmann

Sami Steigmann was born on December 21, 1939, in Bukovina. During the Holocaust, Sami was only a child when the Nazis conducted medical experiments on him. He was in a labor camp in Transnistria from 1941 until its liberation in 1944. After WWII, Sami grew up in Communist Romania until his family moved to Israel in 1961. Sami joined the Israeli Air Force and took part in the Six-Day War. Sami Steigmann now lives in New York City and educates people about the Holocaust.
