  • Harry Miller was born in Ohio on July 2nd, 1928. During WWII, he finagled his way into the service, where he was assigned to the 740th tank battalion in late 1944. Harry served as a tank crewman during the Battle of the Bulge and vividly recalls the onset of the conflict on December 16th, 1944. Additionally, he remembers advancing into Germany through the Siegfried Line and playing a crucial role in the liberation of Wobbelin, Dachau, and Hadamar.
After the war, Harry participated in the Korean War as a member of General MacArthur's alert team. Subsequently, he transitioned to a different branch and joined the Air Force, contributing to efforts during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War. Harry retired with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in 1966. Thank you for your service, Harry!
