Stationed behind the front lines during the Korean War

Roy Lettieri served in the USMC during the Korean War. During his time overseas, he was stationed behind the frontlines. Lettieri would transition from manning an anti-aircraft gun to serving as the driver for his unit’s Colonel. After serving 4 years, Lettieri believed that Korean War veterans were forgotten compared to the treatment of WWII veterans just years before. Thank you for your service, Roy!
