I begin law school this Fall. An Air Force JAG has met with us already. I’ll be meeting with the other branches as well, but I haven't heard great things about how JAGS outside the Air Force and Marines are treated. It’s also wild how beautiful Ashley is-very impressive.

Do yourself a favor. Avoid the military. Especially if your thinking about enlisted. Officers have an inflated sense of entitlement. And that is because no one holds them accountable like they would hold enlisted accountable. In fact you can get in trouble for accusing Officers. In my service, i was constantly bombarded with political messages by the chain of command. This political message was always to the left. The military is like a big social engineering project where the chain of command gets to impose their ideology on the enlisted. Then they silence you if you have other beliefs. Like she said religion is a hot topic. Mostly it is the chain of command that is restricting your religious beliefs. I found most of the time there was a problem with it, was from the chain of command. 90 percent of the enlisted was comfortable talking about religion. If there is any place the 2nd Amendment should apply, THE MILITARY! If you can not be trusted to carry a firearm on post then how can you be trusted to carry a firearm in war. If you can not be trusted to carry a firearm then you should not be in the military PERIOD! In conclusion, the military is a terrible place to subject yourself too. If you have lost faith in your country, the legal system, you feel like politicians are corrupt, you feel like your beliefs are under attack, you feel like our country has just turned in to cesspool of evil, then the military is not the place for you. The military will force feed you all of this and more 10 times more than as a civilian. You don't like LGBTQ? to bad. Your going to like or their will be consequences. Complete moral implosion. Its not your Grandfathers Military anymore.

I know this wasa a more generalized, broad overview, but can you say anything more specific on Squadrons, like how many jets are in one? It seems obvious that say a KC-10 squadron will have a different amount than say a B-1 bomber squadron, but things like Fighter Squadrons, is an F-15 Squadron have the same number of jets as an F-16 FS?

Appreciate the insight, its now beginning to take shape, but I do have a question. I am still confused about who writes the different AFI's, DODI's, AFSCMAN, etc... As a retired enlisted CO I can tell you almost ALL of my peers that received their Bachelor's Degree, have done pretty well after retiring.

As someone who taught myself Spanish, but later went on to Uni to get my BA in Spanish, and taking Arabic, ASL, and French classes, I have memorized songs in Arabic and French, but also in Spanish before I understood them. Speakers of both French and Arabic have said I sound very fluent when I am singing along with the song. What this does is allows the learner to feel more comfortable in the language by gaining some fluency or fluidity to sounding like a natural. I am a firm believer in making language part of your life, and there are still songs from the 90's that I sing along with that I still dont know what they are saying, and they are in English. The invention of things like Spotify, I am not looking at the lyrics and have realized what I thought they were saying is not actually what they are saying, in my own language, English. So learning to read and sound "natural" is a huge step needed to feel comfortable.

In the end, they dont need to say "So help me God." Is this correct?
