In today's wars the Air Force is the most important branch of them all. Just look at the last 20 years of wars. It is the Air Force who did most of the fighting. Without the AF no war can be fought and won. The country is nothing without the AF. We could win a war without the marines, we could win a war without the navy but we absolutely could not win a war without the AF. Because of this many people of the other branches are jealous of the AF and also because it is harder to get in than in the rest of the other branches. You actually have to be SMART to be accepted in the AF. You don't have to be that smart to get in the marines or the army.

Good morning Ashley! can you please discuss what happens when you share 50/50 custody. Do you give up your rights as a mother when you enlist? does the child decide who she/he wants to live with?

Good morning, Romi! No, you certainly don't give up your rights as a mom! This will come down to how the civilian court has ordered custody to be split, and if you already have a custody agreement arranged with the court, it's something you're going to want to amend when you get in so that you can account for what will happen if you get stationed in a different state or overseas, or if you deploy. Each person's situation is going to be different and you'll probably want to work with a civilian attorney who can help advocate for you in court, but those custody arrangements will/should be determined via a court order.
