    Σκέψου το σύμπαν σαν ένα δωμάτιο με πορτα. Όταν ο Θεός ανοίγει την πόρτα, σε απείρος μικρό "χρόνο", η παρουσία του γεμίζει όλο το Σύμπαν ,από το απείρος μεγάλο, μέχρι το απείρος μικρό. Και λόγο αυτού, κάθε σημείο του, είναι αρχή και τέλος. Για να δεις τι βρίσκεται μεχρι εκεί που φτάνει το μάτι, όταν κοιτάς τι νύχτα τον Ουρανό,πρέπει να κοιτάξεις μέσα σου. Αφού είχες την "Τυχη" να "βρεθείς "στο σημείο αυτό.και την "δυνατότητα" να "κοιταξεις". Και "αν" υπάρχει κάτι "Άλλο" "εκεί" ,αυτός που το "νιώθει" ,αυτός θα το "δει".

There's a number of sound editing programs you can use to slow music without changing the pitch, such as Audacity (an overall great introductory sound editor/mixer. Also, it's free!). The Paul Stretch plug-in is a good place to start. Hope you enjoy the rest of the channel!

    Can u do this ambient treatment with Hairless Heart by Genesis?

    • @grainsofsandambientlands4226
      @grainsofsandambientlands4226 12 днів тому

      Thanks for watching and the comment! "Hairless Heart" is on the list of candidate tracks for the Grains of Sand, Ambient Lands treatment, along with a load of other Genesis songs. With "Hairless Heart," I may have to work around the drums, as drum sounds tend to not translate well into slowed ambient tracks. That said, Collins' drum parts in this track are rather slow / minimalist, so I might be able to do the whole song. In terms of Genesis / Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, there is a Grains of Sand, Ambient Lands slowed version of "Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats." Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/O70O2uKqM88/v-deo.html

      Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you like it! Hemispheres and Dark Side are also among my favorite albums and I'm glad this ambient track brought back those memories for you. When giving these tracks the ambient treatment, I try to preserve as much of the original essence of the song as possible, so although it's a different, more immersive ambient experience, it also allows the listener to connect to the original music in some way. Also, since you mentioned Dark Side, I've also done an ambient version of Pink Floyd's Time if you're interested. Thanks again for your comment!

      Thanks for the comment! Yes, I aimed for a visual experience that reflects/expresses the images and themes of Peart's lyrics in the original song, and you've identified a few key moments here. Although this version is an ambient track in which all vocals and thus lyrics have been excised, I wanted to preserve the narrative thrust and essence of the lyrics in the video, which no doubt had an influence over the original music itself. Wow - I had no idea that Ligeti's music was in that Godzilla remake! Thanks for the reference. Though it's hard to top its place in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

    That ambient remix is a beauty for sleeping, last night I tried it and fell asleep quickly.

      Excellent! Thanks for the comment and I'm glad the music is serving its soothing purpose. Other videos on the channel that are good for relaxation/sleep is Pink Floyd's Shine on You Crazy Diamond (8x Slower) and Genesis' Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats (8x Slower). There are others, but those come top of mind. Hope you enjoy the channel!

    There are 178 episodes each of which I have watched at least three times which equals 534 I've heard this. I'll round it up to 600 because I can and that's 113 hours of TNG theme music. Nowhere near the 612 years of Close to the Edge.

    I've been listening to Close to the Edge for nearly 51 years but at this rate it would have taken 612 years.

    I like the slowed down Yes, but the AI Roger Dean is not a patch on the real work. I don't apologise for my dislike of anything touted as art but is actually produced by an AI bot, I cannot straddle the uncanny valley. The voice of Jon Anderson is one of the gifts nature has given to the world. Just now listening to Rick's church organ, great music transcends time and space. Very interesting, thanks.

      Thanks for the comment! But I don't use AI in the creation of any of my videos, including this one. I enjoy manipulating and editing images and video on my own, using photo and video editing software. The only thing that may be mistaken as AI here are the sky and bird animation templates (which I've also tampered with). Otherwise, it's all a lot of work! But work that I find creatively fulfilling. Glad you enjoy the music!

      My apologies, I'm sort of on an anti-AI campaign and am probably seeing it when it isn't there. I'd better be a little more certain before commenting. Great idea slowing the pieces down and finding the music still has power, even TNG. Thanks.@@grainsofsandambientlands4226

      @@215Gallagher No worries -- I completely understand. I'm skeptical about the use of AI as well, especially when it comes to art and writing (I'm an educator, so ChatGPT use is on the "cheating" radar). I've also trained my eye to see it in more recent photography, paintings, and videos. That said, I have been impressed by AI generated imagery, and my work on this channel is also about reworking preexisting music and imagery into something unique for others to enjoy. But I guess the key is making that process clear: giving credit to the original works (music and images) before putting your stamp on your synthesized result. Again, thanks for watching and engaging with the channel.
