Sounds great but I just got an image of no seats anywhere, just exercise bikes & a power guage in every room.
"Engage! Pedal faster!"
🤣
That sounds downright regal when slowed... But my brain is anticipating each note and saying 'hurry up!' it'll take me a while to get that out of my head, but it is beautiful ;)
Glad you like it! I know what you mean: sometimes with slowed music my mind speeds ahead, especially with extra epic, slow building, tidal-swell notes - pushing for the crashing resolution. Thanks for the comment and hope you enjoy other slowed music on the channel!
This music is done in a manner that reminds me of what is called "Courtly music". it can be listened to or talked through, if you talk softly.
Yes, nice point. I find that the best ambient music can easily serve as background music to suit or create the ambiance of a place or situation, while also having enough nuance to serve as foreground music for somebody more into active listening. Glad you enjoy the track! Feel free to explore the channel for more...
This is just a great inspiring piece, even when slowed down. I really like the video excerpts and synching with the audio throughout. The exploding spacecraft and laser shots at the 6:30 mark work well as the music swells to transition to the theme’s livelier second section. Great job!
Thanks for the comment and noting the syncing of imagery and music - the Borg Cube explosion sequence worked out particularly well!
Yes, there are multiple transitions in the theme - you captured this one really nicely.
There are 178 episodes each of which I have watched at least three times which equals 534 I've heard this. I'll round it up to 600 because I can and that's 113 hours of TNG theme music. Nowhere near the 612 years of Close to the Edge.
I'm enjoying your time-expanding math in these comments! Mind blown.
Reminds me of Ma Ma's death in Dread.
I had to check that out on UA-cam: what an epic, darkly sublime death sequence. The filmmakers were definitely going for a slowed/ambient vibe.
@@grainsofsandambientlands4226 That drug dread gave her (that Ma Ma was selling) gives the user a slowed down time experience.
@@elih9700 Okay - that makes even more sense! Thanks for the clarification.
