Excellent! Yes, the original Love on a Real Train has always seemed like a short-form take on Tangerine Dream's longer material from the mid-70s and early 80s, so stretching it seemed like a natural thing to do, and the classic TD soundscape is definitely there. There will be more slowed/time-stretched Tangerine Dreams tracks to come...

Where is that background from ?
It's a looped sequence from Godfrey Reggio's Koyaanisqatsi (1983). Brilliant non-narrative film. The original score to that film is one of Philip Glass' most iconic works.

Yes, it's definitely a real city. I'm pretty sure the building on the bottom left is the Union Bank in downtown Los Angeles. The major cities used as filming locations in Koyaanisqatsi are St. Louis, New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.@@WallStreetIceCream
