The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again (20x Slowed - Ambient)

- This is a slowed blend of the synthesized organ intro and mid-section of "Won't Get Fooled Again," the closing track on The Who's "Who's Next" (1971). The aesthetic focus on electricity pylons / transmission towers probably stems from the aural similarities to a section of "Resources" on Philip Glass' "Koyaanisqatsi" soundtrack, which is set against Ron Fricke's images of transmission towers in the film. Those steely cold, trellised towers of rational, human endeavor, set against otherwise pristine natural landscapes, and Glass' trademark layers of synthesized organ -- ostinatos rolling between droning bass notes and jarring chord patterns -- is most likely the associative seed of inspiration for this video. Godfrey Reggio's hypnotic vision and aesthetic style in "Koyaanisqatsi" is evident here and in other videos on this channel.

Thanks for the kind words! Feel free to subscribe :)
Yes it reminds me very much of Koyaanisqatsi. Well done 😄👍
Thanks again! Big fan of Reggio and Glass.
The video/audio effect at 9:53 is impressive with the lighting bolt accentuating the power chord.
Glad you like it! That cross fade sequence was definitely intended to be a highlight.
