  • This dark ambient video blends a slowed version of the atmospheric introduction to Dio's "Holy Diver" (1983) with the slowed, motion blurred imagery from the haunting conclusion of Lars von Trier's The House That Jack Built (2018). The dread-inducing visuals, along with knowing the plot of von Trier's grim and grisly film, gives a new meaning to "Holy Diver."

Ha... I appreciate the hyperbole! Dio and Von Trier were meant to be together. The latter is a metal fan, so I think he'd approve. If you're into metal from that era, check out my ambient version of the intro to Sabbath's "Die Young" as well.

Glad you like it! I always appreciated this classic ambient intro but thought it would be more epic if stretched out a bit longer...
