Well done to the Gazette. It's rare for a local paper to do proper journalism these days, yet alone take legal action to get to the bottom of a story. To answer Crimebodge's question at the end... it's a power trip and they think it puts them above the law. Just look at the protection they get given when they're found out.

I've never met a decent police person, personally.

The first week smoking got bamned in pubs i was arrested for accidentally lighting one up to close to the bar. Once i realised i dropped the smoke and put my arms behind back. For that i got knocked out had my shoulder dislocated and both wrists broken. Still dont have complete feeling on the backs of my hands 20 years on. I got done for resisting arrest but the chargers dropped for smoking. After the my court appearance a lady approached and said give me 150$ and ill wipe your record. I gave her the 150$ along with any faith i had left in justice system.

We all know what we think about American police. but I am more likely to get justice from bad police person in America then the uk and that alone is scary

I'd love this solicitor to contact me, Ive got at 3 seperate complaints against the police for abuse of powers, assault, false imprisonment, excessive use of force in which they threw me to the floor while cuffed, smashed my head into the floor because id managed to keep my head from hitting the floor in the original throw down and then proceeded to press into my neck cutting off my oxygen (I have respitatory issues), oh, these were armed officers... (they defended their officers because quote "your head moved") and the police defend their officers regardless of our rights and the evidence available. I was handcuffed for refusing a street search for the twentieth time, arrested for refusing to talk to police about a bogus allegation made against me which they had absolutely 0 evidence to back up (caught on camera) and the solicitors I have contacted say they are at capacity... system is rigged

A police car/van is a mobile prison, you will be locked in, its police property, you are for all intents and purposes a PRISONER until they decide otherwise.

It is common knowledge the police in derby are corrupt and they will even get involved in civil cases when its against the law for thrm to get involved in bailif issues that involves illegal warrants for STEALING houses to give to immigrants. I recieved a letter from an estate agents asking if i want to sell my house because others in the street had been selling but no one has sold there houses in my street because there all against immigration in my street and we dont bow down to corruption and the quicker the british people wake up and get involved in the fight against the corruption the better it will be for those with there eyes closed
