    That first copper who went out of his way to erase evidence, should, by rights, by done for perverting the course of justice/removing evidence from a crime scene. That's what would have happened if the shoe was on the other foot and the accused deleted incriminating evidence from their phone. The fact that the plod in this instance thought it would work, and the evidence was lost forever, by having it deleted, shows the level of intellect involved.
    'Management action', pretty much means they get told to be a bit more careful when it comes to making up/breaking the law when dealing with members of the public.
    I wouldn't trust them an inch.

    I was a punk back in the day and because me n me mate won in court against a certain p.c dobson of northumbria police.
    This set off a campaign of harrasment that got so bad i had to leave my home town.

      A good thing should be a radius depending on how many other app users are in it, so it would alert most nearby users first and if it goes unchecked it extends to a larger area

    I was so out raged by Sgt Robbie Jephcott's actions that I sent an email of complaint to the Dorset police and was told in a reply that unless I was there and could add anymore details then it had nothing to do with me , well says it all !

      I believe it was filmed in Seaham, county Durham.
      The local dialect is fairly robust.
      The cop is not a local....

      @@CS-zn6pp it was shot in Seaham mate, on either Dawdon or the Deneside estate. I am from Seaham and both those council estates are well known for people taking heroin and dodgy street valium, thats why his voice is probably so slurred, i mean it even took me twice to listen carefully so i could understand the kid, and the cops definately not from Seaham, probably from Durham itself, about 10 miles away as round here the cops are no longer required to live in the areas they work in.

    I know a lad who served some time in the RAF then afterwards joined Cleveland Police he didn't last long as he couldn't stand all the corruption so he ended up joining the ambulance service.

      They don't get trained that way. It's an unspoken thing that when you join up, you're safe in the knowledge that you almost certainly won't get done for breaking the law.
