I once stood up in a court. A neighbour's son in trouble for a digital offence (hacking satellite boxes) - I'd offered to testify he was a basically decent lad, fascinated with the technology, who needed a lesson - but not a drastic one.
One of the witnesses against him was a 'computer expert.' I knew the man personally and he was nothing of the kind - his actual level of expertise rhymed with banker. But he was, of course, in the brotherhood.
Having used computers since they output on punched paper tape, I quietly offered alternative testimony. Sit DOWN and SHUT UP! And that was that. I never got to testify.
The savage sentence - imho determined well before those proceedings - ended that boy's promising career. Last I heard he was in a homeless shelter somewhere.
Meanwhile - in my direct experience - rich guys steal millions, abuse young girls, and walk smirking from courts.

My dad, bless him, is one of the most upstanding and well liked people i have ever had the good fortune to have met. He has never broken a law in his life and has always stood up for the police.
That is, until he was assaulted whilst walking through a well known pick up park for the gay community. And yes, he's gay. He wasn't after looking for a pick up, but simply out for a walk.
Once he reported it to the police, as this was a serious assault that had my dad visiting a hospital for head wounds. The police, in their typical manner, blamed my dad simply because he was walking through this park. We hired a lawyer who went to see the copper my dad spoke to and came back saying they knew who the men were but that no charges would be filed as it was their word against my dad's! His attitude toward the law has changed drastically since that assault, and i have to say i don't blame him.

I instantly recognised a higher level of human . With us swapping versions of what brought us to this moment in time(no rude language used by anyone) the man left me with a thought for the day..... he said , your lucky I'm not on duty . The sovereign citizen gave me the stupidest childish comment that anyone with the ultimate power known to human kind could give . The fact that he used his large vehicle to bully me off the road which did not work, so he used the invisible power that he was a cop and he was letting me know he could hurt me if he wanted to and believe me his tone and hatred in his eyes as he had lost control made me realise this man is a dangerous sovereign citizen

"you're turning a simple traffic stop.............into a big issue" - Who is in control here, officer? Are you in control of yourself? Where/how am I controlling you? ............... My understanding is you either have control of yourself or you don't..........
Great video of modern life in jolly old England, Crimebodge
Cops seem to be the worst element in society today....

Its crazy how slow the process of prosecuting a cop is so slow. The CPS will have you jailed and remanded in a day. Yet it takes a longbtime when fighting against the law.

I guess it's by design. Drag your heels for long enough and most of the time people will give up. Only in this case they didn't.

@horace650 government and courts when it's against them is by design. They are hoping you get fed up and stop. I am glad that many people keep on pursuing them. I have had to pursue my local assembly in Northern Ireland for decades along with others. We have finally nearly finished but the last few years on historical abuse have finally gotten answers and I would say that I am getting justice.

Sadly, there are too many instances of police officers behaving unprofessionally and/or illegally. Keep up the excellent work you do.
