I'm shocked and disturbed that a probation officer would mention, "Do you understand white privelege? Because you need to be made aware that being from your ethnic background, this may affect other members in different communities.” as it is clear his thoughts and reasoning stem from a society ( as other countries follow their own cultures and practices ) - he was raised in and certainly it was not deemed anyway criminal for 'thoughts or opinions' when growing up and in 1997 when Louis Duxbury was probably born? Not only has the country bent over backwards to welcome them and allow mosques to be built and strengthen race laws, etc, but the pendulum seems to have swung totally in the wrong direction whereby Anglo Saxon Britons are treated as second class citizens and have no ability to complain or object, and this comes with the full backing of the law.
He didnt realise that all of his comments during the interview, was where he was prosecuting himself. Had he no commented and asked them to prove it with a lawyer...then he would have rightly been found not guilty.
@teflontelefon one of the worst things he admitted to saying was when he repeated that he would like 5 of them for every 1 soldier lost. That kind of language is clearly over the top of acceptable. By repeating it in the interview then apologising for it, he was helping the police build a picture of him as a monster. Also it allows them to reinforce the evidence and make it stronger. All he really was doing was blubbering about a recent terror attack, there was no actual intent there.
@teflontelefon he agreed with all their accusations... his lawyer told him to be quiet .. he kept talking.. its not for him to prove his innocence ... he gave them the words and the agreement.
"No comment" is a comment in itself. In interview, not even your name ought to be confirmed, let alone llistening to each question and providing a comment of "no comment", which proves acknowledgement and can later be used against the subject if an answer is provided. People are widely mistaken that the best way to respond is with "no comment", but that's just bonkers!

" Lets talk about the reason why you are here today " No comment.
My reply to that, (crickets and wind).
"I'm going to be honest and truthful that's the best way to be about it ! " NOPE! SHUT UP !
Unfortunately, the, 'honesty is the best policy', line of thinking only works if those you're talking to want to listen and be honest back. This interview, from the very outset, was stacked against him. The police knew what they wanted to hear from him and guided him into it, like a lamb to the slaughter. He sang like a canary, volunteering information that would be used against him. He didn't stand a chance. And all because he wanted to be, 'open and honest', about everything. In a perfect world, maybe, but not when dealing with zealots looking to put someone away for political reasons alone.
Makes me wonder if instead of using the word Muslim he had said Christian would he have had the same response 🤔
Unfortunately, we all know the answer to that. 😠
RAF Regt live on the edge
They would have shaken his hand
"I know you have been honest with me but I FEEL you are a threat." Great police work right there.
Excellent video Crimebodge, this is a shocking indictment of contemporary policing and the judiciary.
