I’m finishing my prereqs so I can apply for clinicals the following year. I’ve worked dead end jobs for years and I wanted a career and my parents mentioned this to me. I’m doing this for my daughters to give them a better life and be able to stand on my own two feet.

I’m already a LMRT working in my field. But I’m having trouble getting into a program to become a RT and choose a modality. Any recommendations?
I’m guessing you’re in Texas? Also, why are you having trouble, what’s the issue ?
@@juanmotiva8s959 I take it not many people outside the state use the term “LMRT”?🙄 I keep getting stonewalled trying to get into an RT program. I know there are spot limitations but just trying to put out as many feelers as one can instead of just putting all your eggs in one basket of a school is difficult when trying to search RT programs and the only thing coming up is “X-ray school” or “radiology”. Am I not using the right search terms? Plus, I don’t live in a major city so there’s the issue of knowing different schools to try. University of Phoenix acted like they had one but then when they give me a follow up call on it, tell me they don’t actually have what I’m looking for. And then there’s the fact no one wants to do things in person anymore so finding recruiters for advanced programs is a game of phone tag. I just want to get back in school and learn the bigger stuff!😫

So if school is 8 to 5 everyday from Monday to Friday, are clinicals part of that 8 to 5 or is it extra hours or how does it work? I'm worried that I won't have time for a part time job to help my mom with rent and stuff like that, but I could also only work weekends I'm not sure yet lol

Thank you for clarifying the amount of radiation. There were a few people saying that you’re exposed to more radiation in CT than X-ray.
Yo! Yeah man no it’s definitely not more radiation. I mean it’s more radiation to the patient but not the tech. You have a lead door that you close and you talk to the patient from the speaker 🔈 so your safe. CT is in very high demand. If you want to work a lot to make a lot, go for it. Rad Techs are being trained easily. The hard part is getting thru xray school.

Yo! Welcome 🙏🏽 Man as I always say I keep it 💯‼️ At most places I’ve worked CT I was always alone and I never had help but now that I’m back in CT & day shift … WOW it’s crazy how much better it is! So the first video isn’t a lie don’t go to CT if your doing evening, Overnight or sometimes weekends because does shifts are hard to cover and there’s a chance you will be working alone 👀 Hope this helped & if you haven’t already please SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏽💥💯
I think you should RENAME your LIFE QUOTES series by including the EPISODE #, b/c every time these video shorts come up on my You Tube feed, I keep thinking it is the same episode showing up over and over again, and therefore I don't bother to click on it. I just recently checked your channel page, and saw that you have several of these Life Quote video shorts, meaning they're all different. The problem is that the video Thumbnail pictures all look the same, and the name of the series is always the same - Life Quotes. I think that you should at least number the videos - 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. - so that we realize they're all different, and we can tell them apart. Other than that, thanks for the positive reinforcement and encouragement, and keep up the good work !!!

To be an Anthropologist Assistant you must become an RN first usually so no I haven’t seen one that started as a Rad Tech. P.S. some Rad Techs go back to school for RN because they see the opportunities that RN brings compared to RAD TECH. Just being honest. Hope this helped 🙏🏽
Crna you have to be an RN first. Anesthesiologist assistant you can have any healthcare experience as long as you have the pre reqs

Usually if you work outpatient center your patients will be what we call “Walkie Talkie” so they usually move on their own. If you work at the hospital you usually have help so you’re not alone. My brother just did bsc imaging technology in indai now he doing his internahip of 1 year. After internship he wanna work in usa. How much starting salary he will get per hour.
It all depends where you work. Like what state California makes the most maybe around $50-70 hr.

Yo! This book actually helped I passed my state 💈 license 1st try. I am a certified Barber in the state of Florida but I haven’t been doing it because in Radiology I make good guaranteed money so it’s hard to get into barbering but I do plan on getting into it more in the next coming months.
