Thank you for sharing this because I’ve been considering applying to a Rad technologist program and had no idea about any of this 😄. Can you expound on the getting yelled at by Dr’s part ? That sounds like it would piss me off tbh. How often is that happening?. Also, how difficult is the actual material you’re learning and then how hard are the clinicals? We might need a part 2 or a live q&a.

I just got accepted and I start on august. The program director said “you will experience the most challenging, difficult, and strict program you will ever be or hear about. Not even in the army are this strict. You will be out by just blinking in a moment you’re not allowed to.” Jajaaaaa 3 people walked out of the orientation but people that have been to that program on that same school say the professors try to make it look hard because they need to get students out because there’s not enough spots in the hospitals for clinicals, but I do not care, it is college and I am a man that wants success. I will be coming back to this channel for the next 2 years.

Unrelated question is it possible to do 16 hour working two jobs and schedule the prn job to make the 16 hours shift possible

Yes absolutely
Here in Florida they have weekend positions that you only work
Saturday & Sunday (16) hrs which = FULL TIME
then your off Monday- Friday to do whatever you want !

The program is tough and doesn’t allow you to work Full Time.
Maybe part time but that’s about it.
