Thank you for clarifying the amount of radiation. There were a few people saying that you’re exposed to more radiation in CT than X-ray.

Yeah man no it’s definitely not more radiation. I mean it’s more radiation to the patient but not the tech.
You have a lead door that you close and you talk to the patient from the speaker 🔈 so your safe.
In xray you have lead on but still have your legs, head, eyes ect… exposed

CT is in very high demand. If you want to work a lot to make a lot, go for it. Rad Techs are being trained easily. The hard part is getting thru xray school.

CT is so in demand right now, I mean X-Ray too but CT pays more and if you’ve watched my videos after you finish X-Ray school you can go to school in Miami, FL & in 3 months get CT CERTIFIED ‼️👀

Yeah that usually the protocol when you work overnights.
You must do both but that can sometimes be annoying especially when they order multiples 😒
@juanmotiva8s959 in your opinion what's the best ways to study for the CT exam
@renegade5872 So when I took mine bro I studied from “CTTUTOR.com” I’m not sure if that website is still up but that helped me.
I'm stuck on finding a rad tech program that works for me...one private program is around $40k and another i found just started their 2 year program, wont be until spring 2026!
I was thinking 68p mos in military but im not sure because as of last year it's no longer JRCERT accredited and I'm not sure how much that effects getting a well paying job.
