I have been a long time xray tech and now doing CT. I think CT is probably the most stressful modality in all of Radiology and that includes US, MAMMO, NM. With CT our outpatient schedules are also full.

Ok so less stressful is MRI at an outpatient center. Anything at a hospital is usually stressful.
      Hope this helped 🙏🏽

Tbh it also depends on where you work too. I’ve been to places where MRI was busier than CT or CT was busier than MRI. Or if you work at a freestanding ER, CT and X-ray can be slower.

@@juanmotiva8s959I’m confused so is Radiologic Technology Ct?

Dam bro , Ct seems busy , I am more of a laid back person and would probably like the slower pace of MRI , plus no radiation!
    Can you explain the differences between Cross-training CT/MRI vs CT/MRI class/program ?
After I get my license in Rad Tech , is it better to be crosstrained or take a modality course that my college offers.

how about x ray ? is x ray for fast pace or like mri laid back?

    • @juanmotiva8s959
      @juanmotiva8s959  3 місяці тому +1

      Yo!
Ok so X-Ray & CT are both even as fast paced maybe CT is faster of the 2 because you get a lot of stroke patients & the first thing they do is go straight to CT!
MRI is more of the timed modality so it’s slower paced.
      Hope this helped

Is jcert the same as arrt? I’m trying to get arrt certified through palm beach state college and it says that it is jcert accredited. If I graduate this does it mean I will be arrt certified?

Ok ok I went to Palm Beach State College for Barber 💈.
Ok so JCERT & ARRT are two different but equally important things.
JCERT- they make sure the school is teaching the proper curriculum that satisfies ARRT.
ARRT- Is the National registry you have to pass to become a Certified Radiology Technologist.
Palm beach state is a State College so go there !
      Hope this helped 🙏🏽
