Didn't get into the program this year but this gives another year to try and retake English and Math to boost my chances next year.

Hi, I am sorry you didn't make it in this year, do you mind me asking what grade you are trying to make in English and Math? I am just starting my class's and do fear this exact thing.

I’m in second semester rn and I’ve noticed clinical rotations are nothing but free labor lol I’m learning but I honesty feel like if I studied hard I could pass the registry rn

So yeah that’s what clinicals is but it also prepares you so when your done your confident enough to actually be productive in the department & not have to train you for long.
You might be able to pass the registry but they don’t to trick you so make sure to do your registry review.
Your going to do GREAT‼️ ☢️

I have to disagree with you on a few points. I would say 95% of clinical rotations are good, but, like you said, things can go sideways fast with certain techs. For instance, I was yelled at because I was helping with lift assist and she yelled at me and said I needed to leave because they had enough people. The next day, another tech yelled at me because I didn't help with lift assist (there were already 8 people lifting the patient and he wasn't that big), and purposely delayed patient care until I got in there. Another thing, and I think this is true for most places like you said, the techs will not tell you they are going to do an x-ray, so I just follow everyone that leaves the room. When two left the room one day, myself and another student followed them. They were talking in an x-ray room and the one tech literally looked me dead in the eye and yelled "Leave! There is nothing here for you." This is also the same one who yelled at me that I needed to help with lift assist even though there was not enough room for me. Luckily I have enough age and life experience that I can read people and know when to back off, even though sometimes I really want to get into it with them.
Also, not so much on the clinical side of this, but, per our school instructors, if we are one minute late, we are tardy. If we are late 3 times, even by one minute each time, we have to make up an entire 8 hours. I swear that some of these places do not use common sense at all. However, I do love your videos and you keep doing you. Ignore the person that said to quit asking to subscribe. Everyone says it and you do it in such a way that is short and to the point, unlike some others that spend 5 minutes telling you to subscribe. I also mention your videos to some of the people in my class because you do keep it real and they need to hear it like that. Thanks for all you do.

      Hi Heather 👋
First off thank you so much for your support that means so much to me!
      I truly appreciate you 🙏🏽
Honestly the way they treated you should be a BIG NO NO!
That’s when you should be able to go to your clinical coordinator & say what’s happening. Then they either go talk to the tech or just simply move you into a new clinical site.
Sorry you had that experience no one should ever go through that!
Also, follow me on TikTok under same name “Juanmotiv8s” once I can go live I will and help people directly 🙏🏽

Can you make a video on being unmotivated by grades or even struggling in lab or clinical some tips? Would you say it’s better to just leave than do poorly?
