I’m so unsure whether to go into an associate of radiology. I’m in the same spot as you, I am 2nd gen here and my parents were not wealthy. I am so scared! I don’t know if it is for me or not but something has recently been drawing me to this field. I feel too dumb for it, I don’t want to waste time or money either, what if I end up trying it and not liking it? because I’m already 20. Another thing that scares me is I am super family oriented, the hospital hours scare me. I don’t want to be working holidays when I’m older and have kids. It is so relieving though seeing someone like me doing videos. Hopefully I make the right decision. Thanks for making videos Juan!

Until you truly understand how smart & powerful you are from being Consistent, Morivated & Dedicated! I would look into Dental Hygienist, Physical Therapist assistant, billing & coding. All these have amazing work/life balance and get paid very well. Radiology isn’t a good work/life balance in my opinion. Hope this helped 🙏🏽
QUESTION: There are many nurses on staff in the average hospital. On average, How many Radiology Technologists are usually on staff in a typical hospital ? Are there more than 10 Rad Techs, or Less than 10 ? How many CT Techs / MRI Techs are usually on staff in a typical hospital ? I know it depends on the hospital. Can you please answer these questions in relation to your hospital ?
Hi Cynthia 👋 All those statistics 📊 are based on the size of the hospital you work at. As for my current hospital we have between 7-8 X-ray techs / 2-3 CT techs/ 1 MRI tech that’s all day shift & overnight it’s only 1 for each. Hope this helped 🙏🏽
