Loved being a CNA taught me a lot about patient care. Did it 6 years and I feel people that go to healthcare need to be a CNA before any other healthcare job to appreciate what you do.

But I don’t agree if your going to Rad Tech, Respiratory, PTA ect … Usually those departments don’t deal with intimate direct patient like Nurses do. I definitely see your point though ✊🏽
Love the straight facts no BS , I was also a CNA and hated the patient care part and having to wipe old people's diapers , just finished my first year of xray school heading into summer clincials , 1 more year and ill be an RT ! Difference is I love being a rad tech student and I enjoy clinicals so I hope i'll enjoy being an RT more than being a cna.
Before I started MRI. I wanted to be a nurse and I was like 19 i enrolled into a month long cna program January of 2020 and classroom/clinicals are night and day. That’s where I saw what RNs do on a daily basis. Realized it wasn’t for me. Couple years later found out about MRI. Currently doing that. :)
