Magnifique ! Et ces oiseaux qui chantent sont si relaxants! Merci
Wow!!! So this beauty is in full sun?
This one is not in full sun , but it does get some full sun during the day. 👍
I only watch this Chanel because this guy is so sexy .
Thank you for watching . I really appreciate your comment 🫂💕
I foliar feed phalenopsis, but I put a cover over the media and tip them all on their sides on my outdoor table to drip-dry. I have 13 at present, and they are looking fab. I have had no problem with crown rot. It is a small thing to either blow out the water or tip them on their sides. I am even returning a rescue phal to its owner in a couple of weeks because it is now fully recovered, thanks in part to appropriate foliar feeding and hydration management.
Thanks for sharing your method , this is great information for anyone to learn from 👍💕
"Bing Bong" ... not 2 fear. W/a plastic bag it won't be long !
🤣if someone coms ringing my door bell with a clear plastic bag in hand I might be too busy trying to escape over the back fence to open the door 🤣
Joy🎉
I only wish these flowers would last longer 😍
Peter can you post your potting mixture for your vandas
This is how I plant up my semi teretes and terete Vandas ua-cam.com/video/2nNOJvWSC3w/v-deo.htmlsi=1c3fTqzSxxX7p_-k
The sounds and the sight😍
The colour of these is just so special
Sir, your detailed observation on use of seaweed on orchid, please.Thanking you in anticipation.
Thank you for the suggestion I will definitely do that very soon . 👍💯💕
Based on what ur saying I'm prob not going to use this method on my Phals. I was hoping to hydrate some of the large "cardboardy" leaves on a couple of them😢
if they are drying out a bit foliar feeding is ok if you are just sure you dont allow water to sit in the crown . When our humidity is low we still spray our Phals leaves .
@@thenaturecompany Will comply ... targeted and focused. The more you know, the more you grow !
@@thenaturecompany Will Co !
😁 you know it
🤣
What would u say the minimum outside humidity % should be to feel fairly confident that the stomata are open during daytime ?
It would depend on the specific orchid but around 75 to 80 % is probably the sweet spot as a min 👍
@thenaturecompany That would b a dry day here 🤣🤣🤣 ... jk ... it goes dwn here during day in winter but V high @ night all yr round !
😁 I am booking our tickets now
hello sir, may I kindly know please the reference book? Thank you
I will look through the comments again and find it for you . 💕👍
Really appreciate your insight into orchid physiology and science based orchid managment.
Thanks, we appreciate your feedback! 😍🫂 A little bit of understanding goes a long way IMO 😁👍
Gy hi by🎉🎉
😍🫂💕
So interesting. The info was very helpful. Not sure why I’m not getting notifications. I had to search to get you. My notifications are set as all
Sorry about that , it seems UA-cam does that quite a bit . Glad you found us again . Thanks for your feedback we really appreciate your kind words 😍👍
Hi thanks for the guidance. I use MSU fertilizer that I add to distilled water. Can I use some of this in a spray bottle for my orchids? Thanks
Yes, absolutely but understand it is a Urea free product so be sure to spray when the stomata are open . 👍
@@thenaturecompany Will do! Thank you sir!
pleasure mate 💕
Thank you your content is so interesting and you explain in a very clear way. I maybe missed the information as English is not my birth language: how often do you spray your orchids? Do you also water them, or is it one or the other to avoid excessive watering? Thank you very much
Thank you for your kind words we really appreciate your feedback 💕🫂 We do both remember with foliar feeding it is just fine mist spray on the orchids so watering is still needed. We foliar feed every second week as a general rule but it depends on which orchids and the seasons . 👍
11:34 Nice list of orchids that would benefit from foliar feeding. I would try mostly outdoors especially with fertilizer mixed into the water. I usually only spray my orchids with hydrogen peroxide when they are new additions to the collection or with neem oil during the summer as a preventative.
Yes it is often easier with orchids that are outdoors so you don't land up with spray all over the lounge furniture 😁Thanks for sharing what else you spray , a lot of people can learn from this too 👌💕
Appreciate this video.
Thank you . Glad it was helpful . Thanks for your feedback
اشكرك على اهتمامك بالاوركيد انه اجمل نبات في الدنيا ❤
Ďakujeme ako vždy, vážime si vašu spätnú väzbu. Máš pravdu, že sú naozaj úžasné 😍💯
Sir, how is it then that we are advised by so many experts to avoid urea as it is of no use for orchids, and fertilize orchids with amonical or nitrate form of nitrogen .Thank you very much for correcting our wrong notion regarding use of urea in orchids.
It is an old fashioned way not to use Urea , the new science proves orchids can use it . Here I explain a bit more about it too ua-cam.com/video/F9z0RgcHSDQ/v-deo.htmlsi=fvfl7nAYE9A32lwK . Thank you so much for your feedback we really appreciate it💕🫂
Product recommendations?
for foliar feeding I usually use organic products . I rotate my produces so that if any of them are lower in certain nutrients the others will compensate . I hope this helps , I am not sure what you are able to get where you are . 🫂💕
👍❤👍
Ďakujeme ako vždy, vážime si vašu spätnú väzbu 🫂💕
Your orange schomborgkia in the background is beautiful!
This is our Psycopsis mariposa . but I can see why you thought it was a Schomburgkia through the lens . 💕💯
Could you show which part of the plant is the cuticle please?
The cuticle is the "skin cells" of the orchid , the top layer of the leaves .
I have always fed like this 😅 now I have proof I am doing it right 😂
you have been doing it right , no need to worry lol
This is just the truth ...
this is the way
What type of orchids do you recommend for wide shallow pots ?
Dendrobium kingianum is a good one , along with most other Dens. Encyclia too . A lot of the Cattleya , I think it is more where do you want to put the pot and what effect do you want the pot to have as there are so many that will grow in wide shallow pots better than deep ones . 😁 I don't think I helped much did I , sorry 😉
@thenaturecompany Umm, ok . I know exactly what to do now 🥺😂
That basket around that Oncydium is a joyous idea🎉.
Thanks sometimes things happen by mistake and they work lol
They love humidity and good air movement as well !
We struggle a little during winter with them as our temps at night go below their liking but they always bounce back
@thenaturecompany Yes, I've heard about such things as low temps 🥺 Lol. They say all u can do is put a sweater on the orchids and keep a joyously 🎉 hot pot on the boil 4 urself ☕. To take u on👍.
🤣🤣🤣 had me ROFL , thanks for that .. love it
Joyous🎉 The more you know the more you grow !
oh I like that one ... excuse me if I steal it and use it 😘😁
Oh humidity, how our orchids cherish thee. Do not forsake us.
🤣 the seasons are looking to change soon already lol
@thenaturecompany oh me oh my !
Humidity 💦 ! Oh joyous humidity . Where art thou 🤔? The orchids are calling 🌺🌺 .
🤣 it is all here making my fungi grow 🤣
@thenaturecompany Tell the bad fungi to go home ... Lol
🤣 you think they will listen if I shout load enough
Wow, stunning!! How do you get them to rebloom? Bought Brassias years ago with flowers but they never rebloomed again…
don't give it too much water in winter , let it go slightly to the drier side . and make sure it is getting enough light . These are the two biggest factors . I hope this helps , if you doing this already give some more info on where you are so I can give further advice 🫂💕
@ thank you so much for the advice, I will try it this year. Usually gave water once a week in winter. Will keep them dry with my Dendrobiums this year 🫂💕
you may need to water a little bit more than your Dens. just make sure the pseudobulbs don't start to wrinkle 👍
@@thenaturecompanyPerfect, will keep that in mind. Thank you for the advice 😉🌸
pleasure 🫂💕
I watched this whole video and had to buy a humidifier. In just one week my orchids are looking so happy!
😍🫂💕 Thank you so for your feedback we really appreciate it . It is wonderful to hear your orchids are smiling
excellent thank you
It's always great to share our tips with you 🫂 Thanks for your feedback much appreciated 👍
Thanks for giving the science behind the treatments especially the calcium acetate information
Thanks for your feedback we really appreciate it 🫂 It’s always good to get back to basics and look at the science behind things 😉It is always better to explain a bit so it makes it easier to understand the why and how 💯💕
Wow, now I know I'm ready to mix etc & be growing up my orchids. Thank you 😊
👌🫂 Than you so much for your feedback. I hope you have as much success with it as we do 💕
Oh brûlé par le soleil non? Elle est quand même joliment fleurie! Merci
Oh oui, juste un peu trop de soleil, cela ne nuit pas trop à la plante, cela rend juste les feuilles un peu inesthétiques et la chaleur favorise leur floraison dans une certaine mesure. Donc tout va bien mdr 😘💕🫂
@thenaturecompany super I will try this thanks a lot
May i ask what is the garlic mixture that you sprayed. Thank you for great videos. 😊👍
I meant to ask if you create your own garlic tonic. Thanks again 👍🤞
Of course , I will link the video we make it in here 👍💕 ua-cam.com/video/nf2cnzLEgrE/v-deo.htmlsi=hRDdl35Hp8f3uZwf
yes we do . easy to do 💯😉
I received a lovely orchid as a gift with several buds but the buds were dried up. Everything on the plant is very healthy. The buds dried up fell off.. should I cut the stem back?
It is up to you , you can try for secondary flower spikes to come off the main stem or you can cut it right back and allow it to grow and build up more energy to put up a full display again 👍🫂❤️
Dis super cool
Baie dankie . Brassia rex , one of the easy to grow Brassia's 😍
Thank-you for sharing this joy🎉
Half the joy is in sharing their beauty with everyone 💕😘
@thenaturecompany Indeed !
That flower identifies as a carrot
🤣 You made me ROFL , but you are certainly not wrong 🤣
Are they Brassias? Wow!😮😊
Yes this is Brassia rex , good eye 😍💯👌
What a beauty!!!
They may not be the brightest colours but they still stand out in the crowd 😍💕
I’m trying something similar but using a cotton pad to keep the root base moist since the cotton pad dries out i have more control over how moist it’ll be. My orchid lost all its roots but looks like a Keiki was coming out of the stem 🥺
I hope it works out for you! It’s exciting to see a new growth coming! 💕
Excellent! It is so important to realize that watering and moisture are two different things. Related, but different. I'm a Cattleya guy, and I didn't know why I had killed every single Phal I ever had. This video came in handy and at the best time possible: I just got 8 new phals as a present, and I want to do better this time! Thanks for the explanations!
Pleasure , glad we got it out in time for you 😁🫂Thanks for watching and adding your feedback 💕 much appreciated
I have Phalaenopsis and have just received a Psychopsis, so I lean to the side of growing both!
Happy growing 😍 They are bot such rewarding orchids to grow I hope you have great success with them and they flower beautifully 💕
