    In S'pore, when you use a pot that deep (Miltonia), we fill about 1/3 or 1/2 the lower volume with chunky packing styrofoam chunks - works well and provides excellent drainage

      Thanks for you input it can be a great additive styrofoam helps keep the pots light but I will only ever use pre-used styrofoam . 💕

    good lord, the snapping sound when you divide it gave me anxiety hahaha 🤣, i never heard of bratonia before they do look like an oncydium, very pretty 🍃🍃💚💚

      There are so many of these intergeneric hybrids these days it is difficult to keep up with all the name lol . I need a jungle so I can get all of them and put them in the tress lol

      It is not that old relatively speaking , around 8 years or so . They are quite vigorous growers , I have divided this plant before too . 😉
