🤣 gotta keep it fun for both of us lol . For sure I def. think you need to crank the humidity levels up to make sure the flowers last as long as possible 👍
Excellent! It is so important to realize that watering and moisture are two different things. Related, but different. I'm a Cattleya guy, and I didn't know why I had killed every single Phal I ever had. This video came in handy and at the best time possible: I just got 8 new phals as a present, and I want to do better this time! Thanks for the explanations!
If you don't have a humidifier then at least use evaporation trays or a tent . Also adding humidity to the air will probably make breathing easier for you too and less likely to get the flu as I understand 😉😁
During the raining season humidity is good. I struggle otherwise with low humidity. I've got myself 2 humidifier. Hopefully it will bring the humidity up when the rain season stop. During this winter and in the beginning with the summer my humidity levels drop to 35%. It gives me stunt growth and my spikes have less flowers and it drops quickly. I've learned a lot in this video. Thanks for all your videos
I've got to ask, about a previous video, the one where you talk about fertilizer first and then water . I want to know if it will be okay to do the water and feeding at the same time or is it best to do seperately. I've got more that 200 phals
We have no shortage of that here. 93% here just b4 dawn this morning and its winter time dry season now 😮 I have excellent air movement though and by mid morning the humidity drops back down as well.
15:39 😚😂🤣
I need to turn the humidifier back on, it's only 34% and I have a phal schilleriana in full bloom for the first time in the same room.

Another great vid❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it - hope it helps! 👍
Glass beads makes that idea look good too thanks
I know, humidity can be tricky to manage, but they really do help!
Ich freue mich sehr über ein Wiedersehen. 😊❤😊❤🎉

I didn't know my orchids got lonely 😂
"Bing Bong" 😂😂
you know they do , that's why you keep buying them 🤣
What kind of humidity adjustment do you need for winter? I have a heater running, so I assumed I needed a little more, and adequate air flow.

I do it together but make sure I flush once a month with good clean water 👍

just joyous🎉
Humidity is something you should always be aware of when growing orchids
💕💯👍
