It is an excuse to keep buying orchids , if I spend money now on these orchids I will save money in the future in not having to buy birthday or Christmas presents 🤣 at least that's they way I try convince myself I can just keep buying 😁

Seaweed extract is also supposed to help wake up any "Sleeping Beauty."

🤣yeah it does that to some of the birds sometime too 🤣 Seaweed extract has cytokinins which help force cell elongation which will help those dormant buds burst , if there are any left 👍

I've have a few orchids with broken down medium, they are not in active growth can I repot in new medium or should I waite for active growth. It is summer with us and really hot. We have temp 42 C degrees

It does depend a lot on the type of orchid you have . Phalaenopsis will be fine but certain Cattleya etc rather wait . Make sure your humidity levels are high enough 👌

Oh, orchid guru, please say blessings over my existing orchids that they last the winter with me in my care and that my Cattleyas don’t abort their blooms this time.😂❤🤷🏼‍♀️🙏🏻💯. I’m sure trying!

🫂 it is a lot more difficult when you get such big extremes , you are probably doing better than I would there 😁 but I send all my blessings to you and your orchids , I hope it helps 😘
