Barda is a great wine! Last time I was hanging out at a wine bar with some Willamette/Burgundy biased snobby friends in NYC I tricked them while choosing Barda during my turn while blind tasting! They all were so shocked and surprised! Great show as per usual guys!

If I ever have the chance to visit Australia in the coming years, Mornington Peninsula was always on my list of wine regions to visit. Only heard great stuff about it, sadly I have not encountered a single importer here in the Netherlands that imports wines from this region :(

Dexter are fantastic and super good QPR. No visit to Port Phillip / kooyong? Ferrous was always a favourite of mine. If you do another region, while I do love yarra (did vintage at giant steps back in 2016) Beechworth was making the wines I loved the most. But Ive been living in Europe for 8 years now so Im not as much in the know!

I prefer Australian Riesling over German Riesling. There is something about Australia and the wine making there that impresses me.

This is interesting for me! I find Palermo undrinkable! Sweet and flabby! I'm super down for old school Cab Savs and whatever but that specific wine I don't know! The older the vintage the better! Not because it has aged but I feel like every new release is a little bit worse nowadays! I don't wanna sound link an a-hole but yeah!

Love Yangarra wines, and the new cellar door is super classy! Great interview, and a shame it doesn’t have more views. I had the pleasure of hearing Pete talk at a Yangarra master class at East End Cellars a good number of years ago.
