Got the Dr Edge Pinots and got a split of the barrique and concrete. Curious to hear what you guys preferred-I’ve tried the concrete and it was just lovely. Felt more earthy.
Both are stunning! Although when this gentleman gets his hands on some nice oak...magic happens.
@@wineforthepeople yep very fair I got the concrete more just to see the stylistic differences and a curiosity to see impact of fermentation vessels
It's pretty pronounced, I love the Occhipinti variations with concrete and oak. Almost like tuning a guitar to a higher key somewhat.
