TIA :) "Need some guidance on the IMM5710e form to get a work permit extension letter since my work permit is going to end soon... My current work permit is an employer restricted one. I got it through an LMIA assessment but the assessment is already expired, however I have a valid work permit. With my work place help I already got my provincial nomination with a work permit support letter ( Restriction on Employment as "yes") from my province.. Now when I'm applying for the work permit extension letter via GC Key account, I have to fill the IMM5710e form and I don't know what to select as "details of intended work in Canada". I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to select LMIA or not.. If yes can i mention my expired LMIA assessment number for the question 6..."

Hi! This video is very helpful, however I'm just wondering if this also applies to my family situation. We got a an OINP non EE approved Jan 29 2025. But our status got expired Dec 29 2024 and we applied for restoration of status through Visitor record. Do we need to withdraw the our current restoration of status request via visitor record and apply for a new one but this time renewal of work permit? TIA

Hello I got OINP and applied for PR. But as I am waiting for my PR, my work permit got expired and had to stop working. My employer refused to pay the compliance fee. What can I do ? Please reply ? Is it possible for me to create the employer portal and submit the fee ?

Do you have any video for the employee standpoint applying on-line for a LMIA exempt outside Canada (without being in any of the programs that you've already showed)? The official site is so confusing and I haven't found the LMIA Exempt employee application option

You have a new subscriber for sure. I would have one question for you if I may. My spouse and I wish to immigrate to Canada (BC) through the express entry program. I have a TEER 3 skilled trade certificate (NOC 73209) with 2 years of work experience in my country, making me eligible for the FSW and FSTW programs. My spouse has a master's degree. We both have top scores in language skills in both French and English (Native French speakers) and are under 35 y/o. Even with those assets, I'm still short of 6 points to be able to enter the Express Entry pools!!! This lack of points is solely due to my qualification evaluation, which is recognized as secondary school level adding a mere 5 points to my profile... What would be your advice to solve this situation? Would the Francophone mobility program be a solution? Again , thank you so much for your work!

Hi Steven, I am applying for an employer specific work permit and restoration of status. Do I select provincial nominee as I got nominated from the province but it has expired. I know I need to go back to the province and I will do that. But all the other options ask for an invitation letter so I selected provincial nominee… is this correct ? Or is it something else?

Hi there! While filling the Job Offer Details, there is a section asking for Expected Start Date of Employment (required) where I am not able to put any past date. It is accepting only the current date. I started my employment with this employer more than a year ago. Can you please guide me with a solution for this. Thank you!

Hi I watched this video and it was a HUGE help in getting my application started.I got a full year extended in canada to get married and apply for spousal sponsorship. It took a month to process my application. Things that helped was asking chatgpt for a bit of clarification on things like the letter of explanation. OBVIOUSLY please dont have an ai write your letter but its good to have something to provide some feedback. It also helped me understand some of the instructions better. I provided a letter of explanation with images, screenshots that explained my situation(like the marriage letter we mailed to the post office and our mail tracking info). I got a letter from my employer and my mom back in the US saying that i am employed and my mom will be willing to provide for me if something happens or i need a plane ticket to come home. I provided my fiances and my bank statements and paystubs. I also used a photo app to take an id photo of me which was free!!! I also used a pdf combiner to gather all my proof of funds in one document. Its super useful!!! I was honest about the timeline and my past stays and i was honest about my intent to leave if i was denied. I tried to be as clear as possible about everything. The letter of explanation is your time to talk about your intent, your relationship(if your in a situation like me), your stays in the past and how long you would like to stay and why this is necessary. We are not in the best position financially but because we were honest and had what we needed even with our low to average funds they gave me a full year :) I know it can be so nerve wracking and anxiety inducing but with time, preparation and honesty you can do it! If you do not get accepted... Im sorry, but please dont feel discouraged think of it as just a step in your long journey towards immigration. Resilience and determinaton is key. As well as a shoulder to lean or cry on.
